steakhouse ressie. This will be our first ts meal but i might save it and just do a cs meal that night just to take it easy. Do you have any opinion on concourse steakhouse??

Personally, I like the Concourse Steakhouse and have an ADR for dinner there on my next trip,

What time are you arriving? Are you concerned about arriving later in the evening and everyone being too tired?

we will be there a day before and i know my kids will be so excited about being there and i was not sure if i should sit down the first day and save that credit for our chef mickeys breakfast? We all have never been(me since age 6) and have no opinion about any restaurant.

We ate there last year with our DS's ages 8 & 6 and enjoyed it. The Concourse is right next to Chef Mickey's so if your kids are young you may want to eat there instead especially if they are into the characters. We always start and end our trip by eating at Chef Mickey's.

We ate there this trip first time- we couldn't hear the Chef Mickey's stuff at all- we were sat right near the entrance to Concourse. The food was just ok IMHO- my dh and I both got the Rib eye with ancho chile rub- we were expecting a dry rub but the steak came with a wet ancho paste- actually more like ketchup- not spicy at all.

Next to Shulas, it's without a doubt the best steakhouse on property - great beef for much less than the heavily overrated Le Cellier or Yachtsman. To be safe, I agree with Java - stick with basic cuts and avoid anything with rubs or sauce.

We ate at Concourse for the first time last trip and loved it. The seafood bisque was incredible, filet mignon was excellent, and the vanilla bean creme brulee was to die for. It's a good place to eat near the MK. Another good alternative if you're in the area is Kona at the Poly, it was one of the unexpected highlights of our last trip.

this is a staple restaurant for my wife and I :thumbsup2
we usually eat there on our first night and gets our wdw vacation going in the right direction!! good steak, good drinks and relaxing!! we think its worth it :cool1:
