My brother thought so...and felt the need to buy me one of nearly everything at wal-mart.
Pictured below you have your Shrek Action figure, Dixie cup dispenser, sugar cookie mix, Kudos Bars, fruit chews, "magic potion" candy, paly-doh, 3 unidentified candies (or hair gels - we haven't figured out which they are yet - will be messy either way), Body wash with water squirter, and antibacterial handsoap - which gets squirted out his ear. And finally - the fleece blanket. (Not pictured are 3 bags of Shrek 2 "Orge sized" M&M's that I devoured over the weekend and a box of Hamburger Helper with the friendly Orge on the front (I forgot to put it in the picture)

Yes folks - I'm 27 years old and my mom/brother buys this crap for me! hehehe

YES

And what really bothers me is that they don't need to merchandise so heavily to make enough money, the film is spectacular - well, maybe there is never enough money

As I was scanning down the page looking at the pics, I really expected the dog to be dressed up as Donkey.

Should I be "green' with envy?

get it ..green..Shrek.....

OK thanks I'l be here all week...try the veal

i'm totally gonna get her 'donkey ears' for halloween! hehehe

I was at Kroger buying groceries last week and saw a Puss in Boots plush that talks when you press his tummy... I HAD to get it for DH. He took it to work and he says people are constantly coming into his office to hear Puss in Boots:teeth:

" You have engaged my valuable services"

" I hate Mondays"

" I thought you said we were done doing things the stupid way"

"ack ack .... hairball"

For the longest time everyone was buying me every Hunchback of Notre Dame toy they came across :) And I'm 27 too.

Toys never get old :)

omg - I was at Target one day and saw a boy playing with the talking Puss in Boots...it CRACKED me up.

when my mom handed me the gift bag with the blanket in it - I ask "Is this the talking puss in boots?" no she says

why my brother handed me the box of shrek stuff I said "Is this the talking puss in boots?" my mom just rolled her eyes. heheheh...$5 says she gives it to me next time I go home.

This is the same woman who gave me the Hokey Pokey Elmo and the McDonald's McFlurry machine for christmas.

No...she's not losing it...she just REALLY wants grandkids! hehehe

I dunno if you read this on another thread - but when DH and I were on our honeymoon back in September we went to Universal Stuidos/IOA for a few days. I LOVED Shrek 4D and wanted to buy Shrek ears then...he said he would divorce me right then if I bought/wore them. heheheh

it was bad enough I made him wear his 'wedding ears' at WDW!

When you go to WDW they have all sorts of Pet stuff you can get Mickey ears for your dog.

You forgot the dental care shrek playdoh, the "be an ogre" set with face mask and talking gloves, etc etc

can ya tell I am a walmart toy associate??? :)
