Hi, poping in to see how everything is going.
Hi, poping in to see how everything is going.
I'm here too! This will be the first DL TR I've read - DH and I talk about going there after doing DCL (which I'm hoping for in 2009...)
Sorry you had such a stressful month back in April - ugh! Glad it's over. And YAHOO! on the house being almost done!
Climbing aboard from your WDW trip report, that I'm loving. A Disneyland report will be great. I've only been once - last summer- and LOVED it. Especially POC and Blue Bayou!
I think we might have to give Blue Bayou a second try. We didn't enjoy it so much on our last trip, but most people seem to love it.
Hi, I herad that getting an 11:30 am PS at the Blue Bayou would be gauranteed boat dock seating to watch the POTC boats float by....JUst ask when you make the PS![]()
So, is school out for you now???![]()
money makes the world go round and lack of it forces you to stay home.![]()
Yes, my last day was Friday. So now I will have some writing time! Now why are you here and not writing your trip report? Or did you start and I haven't got there yet? Going to check right now!
Hurray for summer vacation!![]()
Oh, I am so OCD and such a perfectionist that I have to make sure everything is perfect before I start my TR.
For every chapter I write it in long hand- a rough draft in my "notes" composition book, then rewrite a second draft in my "final" composition book, then I type it up.
You are as bad as me!
I started off keeping notes while we were on vacation, but that stopped after the first night. So, now I am trying to make sure I write a bunch of notes in my trip journal before I forget it all.
I tend to over think things and get myself worked up needlessly over what might happen, so I spent the month of April driving myself nuts over the boys and school issues. I don't know about others and homeschooling, but I hit these periods of time where I question my decisions and wonder if homeschooling is really the right choice. Sometimes these questioning periods pass quickly sometimes they linger for awhile. This time around was one of the lingering variety.
And of course your kids are younger than I was, and everybody's different, but you know your kids and what's best than anyone else. I'm hoping you're feeling less stressed about it at this time than when you first started the PTR.![]()
I'm glad to hear you are less stressed now.I am feeling less stress, being on summer vacation helps with that.
