Think I'm a wee bit nervous about this?

So I'm a single mom headed to WDW with my two teen boys. While I've been to the World several times and the boys and I were there in '02 (pre-divorce), this will be my first Single Mom trip.

Even though the trip isn't until September, the nightmares have begun already. I had the second one last night and woke up in a blind panic!

I dream that we're down there, all settled in our hotel room and lo and behold.. NO LUGGAGE! No swimsuits, no clean clothes, no undies, no anything! In my dream I forgot to pack. Just completely forgot!


Maybe I should have a Margarita (or four) before bed.

All of you will be fine, don't be nervous, nothing to worry about it. For me it's impossible not to pack things and bring it with you.

I'm a single mom too and have 3 toddlers. They are 5 and 3 yr old b/g twins. I've done it twice and am doing it again in 3.5 weeks. It is doable. We're driving down and taking it easy. It really is a dream vacation. Just relax and take deep breaths.

LOL. I am a single mom and I just got back. It was my 15 year old daughter with me. We had a blast, but some minor things did happen. Funniest is ONE of her shoes turned up missing in the hotel room. We waited for days for them to find it. Finally, we left a not and it was there when we got back. You will have a great time!

I am really looking forward to it. I just thought it was funny that nearly 6 months before the thing is to take place, I'm already dreaming about forgetting my luggage!

I love all the encouraging notes from those of you who have done the solo thing and lived to tell the tales.

I am a single mom as well and headed to the World for 11 days in April, my DD will turn 7 while we are there and I to am terrified of what could happen. I have not traveled a ton to begin with and this is my first time flying without another adult (with lots more traveling experience), my first time changing planes and having layovers and my first time to Florida or anywhere even close to it. Am I in over my head? It just hit me today that this isn't a dream and we are really going and I am freaked I am forgetting something!

When my daughter was 5 and again when she was 7. We had such a wonderful trip when she was 7 due to she was older. We are going back next summer 2010 she will be 11 and I can't wait I think this is going to be the best trip ever!!!! Don't be nervous!!! Have a great time!
