Update: yep, the magic happened and the waitlist came through with zero notification! Given that I had only JUST set up the waitlist for my extra day @BCV a week or 2 ago, I had not even called… I logged on to members website to check something else and instead of seeing “waitlisted” by my list of reservations, I saw “BOOKED” and the good ol’ green check mark! I checked my email but show no signs of contact (not yet, anyway!) from DVC. I’ll call later today to confirm. After some prior mishaps w/ MS, and the fact they seem understaffed and aren’t always consulting members about details of their waitlists- I was too chicken to risk our existing 6nts reservation in a 2BR and didn’t list it as a “replacement” (I know… bad me) and so I made this waitlist ask as a separate request. Hoping MS will take pity on my doubting soul and somehow combine the two ressies or at least link ‘em somehow so we do NOT have to move! Less cleaning for them, right? Hoping and looking for the win-win!Sure seems to be a lot of people getting waitlists answered while contacting Member Services. Crazy thought… but just wondering if Disney is still manpower-short and they aren’t diligently pursuing waitlists & notifications? You just need to contact MS (I can't remember whether chat or email will work or it has to be via phone), give them the two confirmation numbers, and ask them to please merge them into a single reservation. That's assuming they're exactly the same villa size and type (and view, if BCV had views). If they're different in any way - lockoff 2 BR vs. dedicated - then ask them to link them as a "continuing stay."
