Think I figured out our breakfasts....

I posted a few days ago about some breafast options for the days my DH has a convention in Orlando (leaving me and the 3 kids without a car during the day).

My plan is to book breakfasts on Disney property those mornings, so that DH can drop us off and we can eat and use Disney transporation to get to the parks.

We'll do Wilderness Lodge - Whispering Canyon Cafe and then head to MK one morning.

And the Character breakfast @ Cape May Cafe and head to Epcot the other day.

The kids are excited about Wilderness Lodge - they think it sounds fun! And they like the idea of the character breakfast as well.

Now - I just have to talk myself into cancelling our Chef Mickey ressie that we already have. I don't think we want to go there, but it was so hard to get our ressie that I hate to cancel it. LOL But I think we'll do the other character breakfast instead, and try Wilderness Lodge. Are we crazy?

Sounds like a good plan to me! Of course, if you really want to eat at Chef Mickey, you could go anywhere after that meal. You'll have the monorail to get to Epcot or MK or you can catch a bus to AK or Studios.

I am thinking we don't want to eat at Chef Mickey. Maybe it's a "must do?"

All I keep hearing is how loud and crowded it is. We did breakfast at Ohana last visit, and just loved it. Cape May sounds like a nice breakfast for us, but I don't think we should do both Chef Mickey and Cape May back-to-back. I would have liked to do the Playhouse Disney breakfast with my youngest, but my older two had no interest. And I personally would have liked to visit the Princesses in Norway, but that was a major veto in my house!

Will I be missing much if we don't do Chef Mickey?

I think you'll be fine. We liked Chef Mickeys a lot, but not necessarily any more than another character bfast. As long as we got to see the fab 5, we were going to be happy.

Thanks - I just made a Whispering Canyon Cafe reservation for the same time as our Chef Mickeys. I will make up my mind soon! Part of me thinks we should experience Chef Mickey's, but another part wants something more peaceful. LOL

I am also alone with 3 kids, so the thought of 2 buffets back to back makes me a little nervous. My youngest can't carry his own plate of food without spilling it, so I wonder if I have enough hands. :)

We absolutely love Chef Mickeys...nothing beats the Fab 5.
