Ok I have been seeing this wholething take on a life of it's own this weekend and here are my two cents-as hoakie as they may be and beleive me they are hoakie but from my heart. The friends I have been able to make this weekend and tha amazing amount of fun I have had in Fly's and Donalds and Jedi's Nemo and CloiePooh's rooms have far surpassed any hat or room any host could give me. I watched in horror the ugliness that has taken over people and it just astounds me. Look around and and look and all the wonderful things you do have and take the time to really appreciate what you do have-wonderful, amazing, fantastic friends who will be there for you long after the hats and rooms are gone. Would new blue ears be nice-sure they would but are the friends I have been able to make and the pure fun for just for the sake of being silly and the chance to leave the outside world that is our lives behind just for a little bit behind-now there is the real dream come true. Ok I am stepping down off the soapbox now.....thanks for letting me rant just a little...all together now "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands...."

YOU SAID IT! I think. I think just like everyone, Those items are taking over peoples lives. I gave up on that so i just hang out with my friends in there rooms. And We still have a chance of a host coming so... It turns out great in the end

Well said. I already have the ears, but I doubt I will get the room, but my friends love to hang out in my room anyway. And of course there is always that slight chance at best guest room but hanging out with friends in my room is something I could never get them to do before... LOL

That is the attitude to have. While I love the ears I got the other day, I love even more having met some really cool people from the dis on there. It has been fun just laughing and playing games on there together. For someone who has only been on VMK since June, it is nice to finally have some pals on there that I look forward to seeing. Thanks!

I must agree with you, big time. I can't tell you how much fun I've had
the last couple of days (and nights) in vmk. I'm so grateful to have made some awesome friends.

The dream ears are nothing, compared to the new friends!

That is so true. I met Hollywood and Football yesterday as well as rosesred and a few others. It was nice to "meet" Dissers on VMK and have new people to hang out and play with.

I could not agree more! I got the dreams hat the first day after cloiepooh invited me to to her guest room, and I was excited. But I am even more excited that I was finally able to connect to a lot of Disers out there on VMK that no doubt would have taken me a lot longer to find if it wasn't for everyone hoarding together in rooms!

I'll admit I'm running around chasing the hosts just like most people, but I agree that the best part of this month will be meeting new friends and having fun.

I think that HSM should go away forever, though, it scares me.
