Think anyone from DVC visits here??

Title pretty much says it all. Do you think any of the DVC cast members visit this or any other DVC bulletin boards? It would be nice to have a secret in with a cast member. Get some of the inside secrets.

I know some do including front desk, MS and guides.

Disney is compulsive about getting feedback and staying close to their guests. One method is using cast members as "listening posts". I expect they gather comments from here and other Disney sites using the same approach.

As JimC said, I'm sure there are CMs that read posts, at least the ones that peak their interests...but I do not think they are supposed to respond to posts in any sort of "official" CM capacity.

My husband was talking with our guide the other day. As he tried to wheedle information out of our guide about future DVC developments, our guide just laughed and told him any info that was released would be on the DISboards within an hour.

Sure hope he wasn't talking about me!

I can tell you that a couple of years ago, I had a conversation with my Guide, don't even remember what it was about, but I quoted him here on these Boards, at least I thought I did. Well, I misunderstood or got something wrong, and evidently it was fairly important, because in less than 30 minutes of posting, my Guide called me and said that a DVC mgmt type had asked him to call me and clarify what I had posted. So yes, they know all about the DIS Boards and they do read. I don't know how much or how often, but they do read.

Since our guide's phone message has a statement saying that New Jerseyans who are not in the system cannot get a call back from her without having signed some sort of "can call" statement, I posted that info here. Our guide Michelle, did ask if that was me. She hadn't read it, but people in her office commented on the post. This was about 4-6 months ago, when we were doing a VWL add on.

They know about the boards ! Our guide told us that they have to check the message boards just to keep up with the rumours floating around about upcoming DVC!!
