Generally from the Dis I have picked up two big things:

School bread! Oh the yummyness!

Mickey's Not So Scary!

Delish Bakery

Yes! I love Delish!

Also this brings to mind: Publix Fried Chicken. Oh goodness that was delicious.

I tried the Spice and Tea Exchange because of the DIS team. After hearing Kevin and John rave about the truffle salt, I had to try it. They were right, that salt is delicious! Also, I never would have given ABD a try if it were not for Pete's review of the BSM Tour. I am so glad I was able to go last summer on the tour with the team and experience DL and California.

Cruising.

Yup. A cruise isn't really my preferred way to vacation but I wanted to give a Disney cruise a try to see how it was and went on PCC 1.0.

I'm a "Dis" convert.

Without "The Dis" I never would have booked:

1. Adventures by Disney Backstage Magic.

When I first saw this offered a couple years ago I thought: "Are you kidding? I'm not paying THAT for a trip to Disneyland." Then, I thought about it some more and thought I'd like to do it. I researched for different options via Google searches and after getting the brush off from another (who will remain nameless) travel group going on the ABD trip, I continued my research and saw the Blog Post about this April's trip. I was on the horn within the hour to book the trip. Best. Trip. Ever.

2. I'm also booked on Podcast Cruise 4.0. We've always wanted to do a Disney Cruise, but never figured out how/when or if we should. After our ABD trip and experiencing the top notch service Dreams Unlimited offered, I booked the cruise days after we returned home.

I wouldn't have booked either without The Dis!

Narcoosee's, Segway Tour, Jellyrolls (YAY!), but mostly, going solo to WDW. In 2003 when I first joined the site, I was in the middle of a deteriorating marriage and never even thought of going to my laughing place alone. Since I have been 3 times solo (and 2 times with friends). The people on this site helped me find my own courage to get out there - even if only by myself.

So this was me before the DIS ...

I made adr's and tried the dole whip that EVERYONE raves about. I must say I wasn't a big fan .. I enjoyed the pineapple pops from the snack carts much better

Done the KTTK tour and Segway tour..Loved both.

stayed for one night at the dolphin due to the rave reviews it gets on the disunplugged podcast. never again, i thought it was run downed. and we switched rooms twice. maybe it has gotten better since the renovated the rooms. however I will never stay there again. to each their own.
