No casinos or gambling -- not even at Pleasure Island (?)
No sexually oriented shows or material to speak of, except at PI.
Very few if any "midway" style games, such as ring tosses, duck races, basketball shooting, etc. Only at Dinoland might that sort of thing occur, and I've never bothered to look.

My DH actually noticed that there was no casinos a few trips ago. Thankfully there is not because I can spend enough money at WDW with out gambling.

good pizza and good cheesesteaks...

...but it's WDW, so that's ok! The Mickey bars, Dole whips, and LeCellier Cheese soup make up for it!!

I have had a baked potato at the Sunshine Seasons Food Fair in 2004, it had cheese and bacon on it and it was good too, not sure if it is still offered though.

Dr. Pepper is an independent, which does mean that it can be sold by anyone, regardless of them selling coke or pepsi prods.

I do too really wish that they could carry some type of other diet sodas. The only place that sells something other than diet coke/pepsi is Whataburger, they sell Diet Dr. Pepper.

I am bent about the living statues, I always liked them.

Sweet tea or so I thought. For years I was told that no where on property sells sweet tea. I was pleasantly surprised to find it on the menu at Columbia Harbour House when we took the KTTK tour a couple of years ago.

When we had our Christmas Lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern last december we were served sweet tea there, too. A most pleasant surprise !

-- I was speechless for a second... :rotfl: -- When I checked, I found a bunch of the earrings were 50% off so my mom and I each got two pairs. When we took them to the counter I commented that I was glad I checked the back or I wouldn't have know they were on sale and the sales lady said "Oh we never advertise sale items.
"Ummmmm, okkkkaaaaayyyyyy. :confused3
Isn't the purpose of putting something on sale, to make it more tempting to buy...so wouldn't you want people to know it's on sale?

Same thing happened at Mouse Gear at Epcot, I was looking as some cool Disney patches and when I flipped them over, they were marked down on sale.
You'd never know it though unless you looked at the back of the package.

After thinking about it, I don't really remember seeing "SALE" signs...or "50% Off!" signs or anything like that.

One of my traditions is to take the monorail and visit the three resort gift shops....just to find the bargains. We got some gorgeous baby things in 2000-2001 in GF.

To stay on track. One thing you won't see in WDW is me yelling at the kids to hurry up. I did it the first time we were there, realized what I was doing, and now....go with the flow. Besides, now, instead of saying "Hurry up", it's "Slow down....my knees/feet/back is killing me!" (and I'm older :rotfl: )

Spoodles on the Boardwalk has very good pizza.........

This may or may not be off topic....let's turn the tables around. Until recently, you could not find merchandise with mickey mouse on it outside of the theme parks and disney stores. I work at Toys "R" Us, and only a few months ago did mickey start poppong up....and I think we only have like 2 items with his likeness.

There is one thing you wont see in the park until 2007 or later... And that would be me!!! (and it makes me very sad :( )

And I know how you feel as this will be the case with me too. (although who knows; a miracle might happen)

...and you won't see me either...atLEAST until 2008! Talk about sad!

But, it is good news too. It was last night that DH said we could go back (believe it or not, he didn't really enjoy DW except for the food, lol) after listening to me whine (while watching that challenge show on food network...they were at Disney!) about all the stuff we missed on our visit.
