Things you miss that use to be at WDW

They could do an entire park of all the things I miss:

20k leagues
Mr. Toad
If you had wings/Dreamflight
Mickey Mouse Review
Skyway
The Hot Dog Egg Rolls they used to sell in Adventureland
Horizons
Imagination with Dreamfinder and Figment ( What about SCIENCE!!!)
World of Motion ( I miss being in the middle of a traffic jam and seeing the family driving to Disney)
The double decker bus that used to drive around World Showcase
I miss the Handwich sandwiches that used to sell in the Land
Kitchen Kaberet (veggie veggie fruit fruit)
Wonders of Life
Superstar TV
the old backlot with the flats of the houses
The Lottery
Tarzan
and now I am going to have to add
FOTLK (ugh!!)

Hey was Tapestry of Nations the parade where the characters used to fly in over the WS Lagoon?

and the most thing I miss the most - LIGHTS OF WINTER at Epcot

Wow. There is so much that I miss. I miss the time when a ride lasts more than a couple of minutes, therefore, I miss Horizons and World of Mortion at Epcot. Both of these rides were very well done and the rides lasted perhaps fifteen minutes. I wish they would tag on the World Of Motion ride to the front part of Test Track. I do not like Mission to Mars.

I miss Tarzan Rocks at AK. The show was fun with lots of energy. I really love the skaters and all their tricks. I wish they had air conditioned the theatre when the Tarzan show was there. These are the rides that I miss the most and I wish would be brought back.

.

I miss the River Country water park. I went once when I was little. I love how natural and organic the park felt. With a little imagination you could believe that it wasn't built by teams of imagineers, and that you stumbled across a perfect natural spring. Don't get me wrong Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are great but they aren't River Country.

I also miss the extended back lot tour, I remember we used to drive by houses (by which I mean their facades) used in shows or movies.

I miss Alfredo's so much I could cry. Their fettuccine alfredo was to die for. I won't even try Via Napoli because I am still angry about it.

i forgot to mention one in my first post. I really miss the Tarzan show at AK

I miss sitting under the "swing zone" at the Tarzan show! Such a good view :rolleyes1

I miss the "original" night show at Epcot where all the land pavilions were lit up in time to the music.

I miss the canoe ride around Tom Sawyer island.

I miss Alien Encounter...mostly because it was so funny watching and listening to reactions of people who had never been on it before :scared1:

I miss Mr. Toad and will miss Snow White when we are there in November

We used to L O V E alfredo's!!! Via nappoli is yummy but definitely NOT even close to Alfredo's

(sorry first time posting with the iPhone app I know this post looks a little funky! I'm learning! Lol)

20K Under the Sea - I remember it from my first trip as a little tyke and wish it were still there

yes, why did they have to do away with snow white?:confused3 i loved that ride. my suggestion would be to move it to Germany in the world showcase. that would give the world showcase more rides and they could still keep snowwhite

We as a family really miss the wonderful buffet they used to offer at Akershus instead of the 'princess' meals they now offer.

To eat there we are now forced to eat a proscribed meal with far fewer choices and have nowhere near the great foods they used to lay out to go up and choose from in our chosen amount on our plates. And the prices are so much higher too! Oh, to have that smoked salmon or some of the cheeses etc. again.

We don't mind eating with the children or having princesses around us at meals but the less popular non-mainstream foods dramatically disappeared and one of the few restaurants that appealed to us with a bit of authentic cultural flair and for me, ethnic heritage (my grandfather emigrated from Norway to Canada) was sacrificed to draw parents and children to Epcot. Akershus was always the highlight of our meals at WDW and now it is only a memory.....

there probably building a new one for the new princess area at MK

Snow White, Resort specif refillable mugs, those huge maps, and when Mickey and Friends were at Hollywood and Vine.

Sunday Brunch at Top of the World
Michael Iceberg playing the synthesizer live in the Tomorrowland Terrace
Discovery Island
Davy Crockett's Canoes
The Mariachi Band playing in the Grand Canyon Concourse
Dinner in the Empress Room on the Empress Lily
Lake Buena Vista Village before it became DTD.

"if we can dream it then we can do it. Yes we can, yes we can!!!"

EPCOT had all the best area loops...

I miss many mentioned here, especially World of Motion & Horizons. Also, Bonnie Appetite & the Kitchen Kabaret.
