Things you haven't done but would like to

Next trip we will do a character breakfast, eat at Carnation Cafe. I will have an asparagus stick at Bengal Barbecue and eat at Hungry Bear. We will visit the island, and do the Bugs Life show. I will watch the Pixar Parade and visit Tarzan's tree. I think I want to do the wine tasting in CA too ;-)

Love the bacon wrapped asparagus sticks at Bengal BBQ! We usually get one order of those, some tiger paws, and a veggie stick, and share!

Can't go to DL without riding Pirates of Car.

Going to go into innoventions just because I havnt done that in years.

I don't remember ever being on the river boat or the DL train. So we will do both next trip.

I haven't been in the Tikki Room since I was little. But I remember loving it. So we will do that too.

I also want to go into to those show bulidings on Main Street if they are open. There is the theater and I think one other bulding. I always rush by them so I'm not even sure what they are. :rotfl:

*See Fantasmic!
*Go to the Tiki Tiki Room
*Ride the Lily Belle
*Eat at the Blue Bayou
*Stay at an on-site hotel
*Hug/take picture with Jiminy Cricket :rotfl:(though I'll probably have to go to WDW for that...)
*Have an actual Disneyland vacation (that is, going for more than just one day)

Will post more if I think of any.

The Fantasmic Dessert package used to be a buffet and you ate up on the balcony that overlooks the Rivers of America. They still do a Fantasmic Dessert package, but it is a dessert box (pretty big) with coffee, hot chocolate, sodas, water, etc..., and servers, along with a reserved seat in a reserved section just behind where everyone sits on the ground near the waterfront.

does that cost a lot? and are the views unobstructed from people standing?

Splash mountain ....as last time we were there in xmas 2003 the weather killed them type of rides lol

Grizzly River Run ....see above

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ... as it hadnt opened last time we were there

Cove Bar, Monorail, Fantasmic Dining Package (are they even still doing this?)

I think they are still doing the Fantasmic dessert thing? I really liked that and would do it again. For big things, sure, I'd love to eat in Club 33 and stay in the suite. Little things I've never gotten around to> Innoventions (I actually got in line for this last time but had just gotten my popcorn and the CM kept looking at me saying no food inside, so I got out of line and missed it..I am not throwing away that popcorn). I'd also like to eat at the Wine Country restaurant..can't think of anything else right now. I did Backstage Magic ABD in January and that took care of other 'must do's quite nicely.

I think it was $70.00 pp when we did it a couple years ago. It was worth it for the chair alone. However, although there are no people, there is railing and that can obstruct your view. There are also several rows of seats and that can affect your view too. When we did it there were tall people in front of me, so during the show I stood at the back of the section behind the rows of chairs..I didn't obstruct the people behind me as that area is terraced.

I want to eat a Matterhorn Sundae at Carnation Cafe.

ooohh what is this???

This sounds wonderful!

Here's a photo of the Matterhorn Sundae:
