Hi all,

I'm heading to Florida in September (2nd week) - have my 1 day give a day ticket and am going to Magic Kingdom for a day.

I'm looking for ideas of other things to do in the area (not the theme parks) that won't break my budget.

It is all adults going on the trip (5 of us), so no kids stuff, please.

Thanks kindly!!

I know you said no kids stuff but Mini Golf is always fun.

You can resort hop and explore the different resorts and eat at the different restaurants. Sanaa has a beautiful view of the safari (we had a giraffe walk up to the window while we were eating). They also have a small outside view area so you can go out and watch the animals and talk to a knowledgable cast member.

Wilderness Lodge has nice trails and bike rentals. You can also do a Segway tour there now.

Downtown Disney is always fun to walk around at. Raglan Road has nightly music and Celtic Dancing at the restaurant - very entertaining.

The Boardwalk is nice for a few hours - outdoor seating, a nice walking area around the lagoon. You can also rent bikes there.

If you have a car, I would take a ride to either Cocoa or Daytona Beach. It's a nice way to spend the day and enjoy the ocean.

Yes, we have a car. We are not staying on Disney property - going there for one day only. Looking for other things to do in the 'area' (within an hour or so drive) for 5 adults.

Thanks.
