Things to do in St Petes Beach in August

I have booked a week at Tradewinds in St Petes from 7th August. There will myself, DH & DS 13 so looking for ideas for places to visit, good restaurants etc. think there's a lot going on at hotel but would like to explore a little. After 10 trips this will be our first time outside Orlando. We plan to spend one day, sons 14th birthday at Busch but other than that ver open to suggestions. We go to Bonnet Creek for 15 nights after this.

There is a restaurant called Crabby Bills right on the beach. Its has delicious food.

I would go on a dolphin cruise. I have only done them from Clearwater Beach but I am sure there are a lot of good companies in St Pete.

Also, DON'T miss the Dali museum. If you are a fan of his work (even a tiny bit) you absolutely must go see this museum. It has the largest collection of his work in the world. There are many of his gigantic room-size paintings and a lot of his earlier work, plus most of his famous stuff is there. And if you are not a fan, you will be afterwards. My DD is begging us to take her again next trip and she is only 8.

Last summer we spent a week at the beach and went to the Salvadore Dali
Museum in St. Petersburg. We really enjoy it.
