Things to do for families with a teen?

Starting with every child (or teen or young adult) is different, there will planty of activities that your 17 yo and her older siblings can do together. We have cruised 3 times now since my oldest turned 18, and she and her brother and sisters spend time during the day at the family pool watching funnelvision, they go to the movies, play trivia, do arts and crafts, play board games and cards in the pub, and always attend the main theatre shows and the early "all ages" show in the nightclub (usually at 7:45pm). This summer my youngest will be the one who is 17, and she loves Vibe and making new friends, but also misses her brother and sisters who live far from home on their own, and will be looking to spend time with them as well as at Vibe.

A lot of this will depend on how flexible you and your "adult" children want to be too. There are plenty of things for the entire family, plenty of teen things for her to do, but if she wants to hang with her siblings, then they may need to be flexible as to where it occurs. There's no need to always use the "adult" facilities, just because they exist. I think you'd still have a great mix of things to do throughout the trip. I wouldn't cancel, if it were my family in the same situation. :)
