I was wondering if anyone could help me think of little things that can be brought on a trip to Florida. We are doing all Disney Parks, Sea World, the Space Center, and Vero Beach. Any little thing or big things that aren't even nessary but help!

Thanks

Rachel

I would recommend bringing your own rain ponchos. You can get them for 99 cents at Target. After using, just toss them in the trash and use a new one the next time. The packages are small and don't take up much space so bring several for each family member.

If you plan to do laundry, bring your own detergent and fabric sheets. It costs something like $2 for a little box (enough for 1 load). Also, bring your own quarters for laundry and toll roads. You'll have to stop and pay toll several times on the way to Kennedy Space Center. It helps to have exact change ready.

Don't forget moleskin for blisters and sore spots on your feet. It really does help!

Those are my best tips for now. Hope you have a great trip!

Sunscreen, small bag----backpack or Baggellini type, Advil or Tylenol, an empty suitcase for bringing home goodies!!

Have a great time!

Extra pair of sunglasses, hat with a brim to protect your face. Snacks that travel well such as granola bars or peanutbutter crackers. Small package of tissues, handi wipes, those individual packs of any medication you might ever use, band-aids, cheap nail file, etc. I like to be prepared for just about anything! Individual powdered drinks to add to bottled water(Crystal Light for instance- we're prebaging gatorade as well) really small penlight that attaches to a key ring.

I would very much recommend ponchos or even umbrellas if your going in the summer or spring because Florida is known for it's downpours and it's very easy to get caught in them.

another thing is just a tip more like...hang on to your hats! we've been down to Disney a few times and we swear that that place just eats hats. They're very easy to lose but very nice to have as protection from that fierce sun! :sunny:( oh... sunscreen is a good thing to bring too. :sunny::) LOL)

I took a small travel sized deoderant and mini wet-wipes in our shared waist belt (bum-bag/fanny-pack etc) - when I got so hot and felt uncomfortable splashing water on my face in a restroom and just 'freshening up' made me feel really human again!!

Just being girlie!!
