...when you are having a rough day at work is to come to this board!!!

I tell you, April is not coming fast enough for me or the kids.

My real question is about strollers - Lillybelly and I have twins that are walking fairly quickly now... should we take our own stroller or should we do the wagon action?

We always used our own stroller. Our kids were used to their stroller and it made it easier for them to have something familar. Plus it has more room for things like jackets, diaper bags, souviners, etc. then the wagon.

Just make sure that you mark the stroller as yours really well. Name tags in a couple of places, bright ribbon tied to the handle, something that makes it unique. My sister once had one of her umbrella strollers taken by accident, we have learned to mark ours.

If you are using an umbrella stroller, the handles are great for jackets, just thread the arms of the jacket on the stroller handles.

my daughter is 3.5 and is a go getter and I am sure she will be even more so at DL. We plan on renting a stroller there to help us enjoy the park more at a walk instead at a dead run:lmao:

Disney doesn't rent out twin strollers at DL for some reason. I remember taking my twins there when they were about 2 and I think that I'd just bring a wheelchair. For yourself.

But seriously, I like strollers over wagons simply because of the "strap-in" option. There are times when crowds are intense and you want to know that Junior won't bolt one way when you are still chasing down Juniorette in the other direction.

I admit that I didn't take into consideration the "strap in" factor - part of my problem (not so much a problem depending on the day) is that my folks are coming and my Mom has a bad knee, so we use the power scooter for her. That makes people usually avoid us (MAN! those things are slow...) Strapping and unstrapping was kind of a pain most of the time...

From everything I have read and experienced, DLR doesn't allow wagons in their parks.

Agreeing w/DangerMouse.

Disneyland Resort parks do not allow wagons. You might consider getting a Disney Visa. Stroller rentals are free with a Disney Visa.

Our last trip my dd was 6 and asked for a stroller, even tho we haven't owned one in years. She gets so tired standing in line and walking all around. Also, with the crowds it was easier to keep track of her. (I just wish they made a stroller my size.)

Ditto what PP said, no wagons allowed. My sister got all the way up to the gate and was turned away!

I am going in April what part?

we are going the 12th - 18th. Our DS will be 6, DD will be 4 and the twins, DS and DD, will be 2 1/2. They had so much fun last year I can't wait for them to go again...

Yup no wagons they want to to be pushing your child not pulling them so they are in your view. I would just rent a stroller but ask for the newer ones that are easy to fold down

I would bring your own stroller. You are not allowed to take DL strollers out of the park. If you want to visit DTD you will have to leave your rented stroller behind.

We are debating about where we are going to stay at the moment - that might make up our minds for us. I like the idea of being able to lug my stuff around outside of the park, but if we are across the street, the twins might be able to handle the walk. Mom is going to be able to handle the walk from there so we won't need to use the shuttle...

I just hate that stroller sometimes...

At 2 + half, oh, I think you'll need that stroller. Do you have the big guns type or more of a Combi/MacLaren type? I'd go lightweight with wheels that spin. Otherwise if you have two pushers I would suggest, two small lightweight strollers. One you can ditch at a convenient spot in the park, and one that you take with you so that they can take turns resting if need be and if nobody wants to ride then you can store your stuff. (I'm assuming diapers are still relevant). That let's you feel out the situation and go and get the other stroller when you need it. Then when you are done for the day, you have two strollers ready to go for two tired two year olds. Or a rolling empty space to ditch your tchotchkes. Just a suggestion, one twins mom survivor to another.

P.S. I also hate strollers. One of my twins was a devil keeping inside it from the moment he could walk. Really. My hat will be off to you though if you can do DLR without at least one single.

We have a Combi and I love it. We took it when we went last May. Part of our problem is that we have also have a 4 & 6 yr old so everyone is really tired on the way home but I'm not pushing 4 kids so the older 2 have to walk. When are they inventing hover boards :confused3
