Things that make you happy

So many things I can think of:

Morning cup of coffee
My daughter calling every morning to talk as she drives to work
Being able to work from home
Hearing a loon out on the lake I live on
Calling my Dad
My grandbabies, all five of them, with number six arriving the end of the summer
My pet Holland Lop bunny Dudley
Having our family vacation at the ocean every summer
Getting my mammogram each year and knowing I'm another year cancer free
Baking
People doing good things for others
Sunsets

.....I could keep going but figure I've said enough - ha ha!

The town is redoing a plaza on ‘Main’ street in the town I work in. This is an electrical box I’m guessing for the traffic light and cross walk. I smile every time I go by it.

Another vote for a walk first thing in the morning. I think my body has started craving it because I'm now waking up before my alarm all pumped up and ready to go. Well, that and the Carolina Wrens nesting in the trees get up around that time and start singing. Our suburb is densely forested and filled with trails, so I just love hitting the woods and seeing all of the wildlife out as the sun is starting to come up. I just tend to be in a much better mood for the day if I get in this early walk.

Finding Kroger Pizza 50% off and it's Mangoes season

... though they make me happy still are now 69 cents instead of 49 cents... like playing the stock market... can I wait for lower price... but still cheaper than a candy bar....so fruit dish is full

currently the influx and reappearance of the birds and critters-my pond has a wealth of ducks and geese, the bushes off the deck are filling with finch nests and the baby bunnies, squirrels and chipmunks are chasing one another. the quail? they just serve to annoy.

Trip planning is one of my happy moments
But the biggest is my cat Luca who is the most affectionate of cats. He climbs up me to get to my face and kiss me then snuggles into the crook of my arm like a baby in his back and goes to sleep. He can stay like that for hours if I have nothing I need to do. Stroking his belly is the most calming experiences ever. Stress, worries...gone. I've had cats before, but. none like Luca.

I am suppose to be on Amtrak Coast starlight right now...alas... anyhow following my pseudo trip on line and they just left the ocean after 13 minutes of breathing the most beautiful air on the West Coast and now heading to fields ... anyhow happy I can follow on line and it's about this time I take a nap on the

Spending time looking at books in the library knowing I can take home whatever I want.
Lying in bed on a sunny morning all snuggled up and no one bugging me.

my cat is VERY happy that the sunbeams have returned to fill her two favorite spots to soak in their warmth. she lies back, soaks in the rays, turns into a snoozing puddle and then zooooooooooooooooooom 'solar powered zoomies'!

My morning cuddles with this guy and then he walks into his cage and goes back to sleep - how are these positions comfortable? Makes me laugh every morning
(Otis has given my DH and I so much joy for the last 2 years. I am so grateful that he joined our family. Definitely my fur baby )
