Things that make you go hmmm?

OMG!!!!!! I dont now what I would tell my kids.:crazy2: I think I would just DIE!!!!!!

Oh it was not fun, in some ways I am glad it happened back then, now ds12 would know what was happening and that would be worse. I called dh on the cell phone (he was in another car with dd) and told him but he couldn't see. Somebody else could which is how they got ratted out to security I assume.

Princess@heart: Security did not look happy, I think they were really laying into them. And the biggest surprise? This couple had to be at least in their mid thirties. You'd think they would know better!:sad2:

OMG! some of those are so funny. Too be honest I am usually in my own world that I don't tend to notice people making out or kids flying by on heelies (I'm one of the fortunate few that hasn't been sideswiped by one) and I don't have a super problem with people taking flash photos when they're not supposed to unless they do it constantly and it's like FLASH FLASH FLASH. But I do wonder how many people are deaf. We were on BTMRR and I"m in my own world as usual laughing and enjoying myself when I hear "Please face foward in your seat"
my dh says to me look at the guy two cart things ahead so I do and the man was literally turned right around taking pictures of his kids behind him! The cms said over the speakers about 4 times "Cart three turn around!" He stayed facing his children the entire ride. Way to teach your kids to listen, and they tell you face foward for safety reasons, the man was lucky he didn't get hurt. I also heard when on POTC the cms stop the boats and say over the speaker thingy's "Boat whatever SIT DOWN" who would stand on that ride?!? That's crazy I tell you, CRAZY!

I've been in POTC and Splash where people were warned to keep their hands out of the water. (YUCK! Haven't they looked at that water???) One time all boats were actually stopped and the CM again told some doofus to keep their hands in the boat or a CM would be by to remove them from the ride. :sad2:

Girls wearing high heels in the park and inching along very very slowly because their feet hurt. Why torture yourself :confused3

I agree with this one......How crazy must your vanity be to wear high heels to an amusement park??????

That's just triflin'! I hope they booted them out of the park for that. Isn't that an "indecent act" by law in California? It is here in Virginia! :sad2:

Well if it isn't, it should be! I don't generally pay much attention to others. But the way those cars swing down towards you if you are in non swinging car it was hard not to! It was creepy and most of all very embarrassing with my son right there with me. I just kept distracting him with "look over there". It was a long ride!

parents (or anyone) who wear t-shirts to the park that display obscene wording.

i just don't get what that's all about.:confused3

It must be the same group who tries to go bowling in high heels! I've seen that once and laughed so hard! :rotfl:

havent been to california much no????:lmao: this is the state that lets everyone run amuk amuk amuk...the crazier you are the better...total diversity and pda's are a normal thing here...its retarded but what can you do? :confused3

Yeah. That only goes so far. What I think they should do is make everyone take em out at the gate and if a cm sees you Heeling in the park, they confiscate the wheels and you can pick em up when you leave. Sounds fair enough to me. But you know someone will just chew a cm out over it.
Wow....if i was "king of the castle" the choice would be (since the parent & the parent's kiddo CHOSE TO BREAK THE RULES)... 1) you can leave NOW with the wheels or... 2) the wheels are confiscated & made into a permanent Pirate (of the Caribean) "booty" prop. Fill up a barrel with them.

my wtfs....any man in a tank top.... & my family members who want to "shop" on main st. in the early AM.

hound :rolleyes1

Once when I went I saw a mom holding her kid in a bush by the Storybook Whale Ride (I cant remember what its called) and he was peeing in the bushes (the ones that were part of the ride scenery and waiting line, anyone could accidently brush against them). OMG!!! SICK. In front of TONS of ppl right next to the line, I'm assuming that it was so she wouldnt lose her spot in line. But in my opinion, they should have been kicked out! USE THE BATHROOM!! The lines are not THAT long..

Ewwwww.

OMG yes I totally agree with you.
Someone should have complained and they probably would have been asked to leave.

And I agree on the shoes too.
I dislike them and really don't understand why kids wear them. Besides being expensive, they're pretty annoying.

I don't like watching couples making out like crazy in DL. I don't mind a kiss or peck on the cheek or a hug but when you are just full out playing tonsel hockey and groping each other that's disgusting! :crazy2: I remember when I went on the Pooh ride with my bf this couple sat in the row behind us and the whole time they were making out like crazy! Then another time we rode Pirates and this boy and girl had a row to themselves. Well the boy pinned the girl down on the seat and started doing goodness knows what! :crazy2: Same goes for when they hold up a line for a ride just to make out! :sad2:

Try watching that during Gay Days while standing inline to watch the Aladdin show in DCA. 2 guys were infront of me and mom playing tonsil hockey and wouldnt unlock themselves. It was really sick. If thats your preference of relationships I have no problem, but be honest here, you dont see the majority of us running around doing that.

My honeymoon actually included a Gay Pride weekend. It was lovely. The park was full of happy couples and I saw way less inappropriate behavior from gay couples than from straight ones.

These are just from this past Sat. night at DL:

We saw a person with a purse with a chihuahua in it. Yes, a dog. In the park.

I can't imagine what ride that poor thing went on, or how safe that was for anyone! Poor dog wanted out of the bag, too, you could tell (it was struggling to get out) but where could they put it without getting kicked out? I felt bad for the dog, cooped up all day, and it was crowded too, so lots of people around!

People wearing 5" spike heels. I couldn't have walked 2 feet in them, but these people think they're appropriate shoes for a day at Disneyland?

Waiting for the fireworks, a toddler (maybe 3 years old) was complaining he had to pee. We were in the hub and the fireworks were about 15 minutes away, so it was crowded. so, the father took the kid into the planter in the hub to pee there, instead of fighting the crowds.

It takes all kinds, I guess...

While in line a POTC we had to watch some guy lick a woman's ear for half an hour. He was short and hairy and so was she. We finally let a few people in front of us so we wouldn't get stuck behind them on the boat.

I'm a gay man but apparently I'm a prude. I hate that kind of behavior in Disneyland. As far as I'm concerned, once I pass through that tunnel I'm 12 years old again.

To paraphrase Tom Hanks in A League of Their Own, "There is no sex in Disneyland"!

I agree with you on the t-shirts! I think it just shows their ignorance!

As least the mom had the "courtesy" to have her child pee in the bushes. On my last trip to WDW I saw a mom and dad letting their little boy pee in the middle of the pavement area outside of the new Monsters Inc Comedy Club attraction. Afterwards, while we waited to go in the attraction we tried to divert people from walking through the rather large puddle he created. The kid had a pretty impressive bladder capacity and seemed to be shooting for some long distance record! :scared1: It looked like he was wearing a pull up so I'm not sure why they couldn't let him go in the pull up if they couldn't make it to the bathroom.

That's awful!

I mean, she could have at least grabbed a cup and had them use that...there are vending carts all around, aren't there? (we did the cup thing with our almost 3 year old just today...near a local park but it was raining when DS suddenly Had To Go, nasty park bathrooms, nowhere to go, so went quickly to our car, grabbed a cup, and let him use it while standing in the trunk of the car...not pretty, can't use the cup again, but it was better than just letting him pee in the park, in our opinion) But then, we're lucky in that DS trained himself easily and quickly, and understood the concept of "holding it" very VERY easily. He might be unique. But still, I'd grab a cup LONG before ever letting him pee in the middle of Disneyland (or anywhere other than, hmm, rural camping).

I have seen a woman let her older-than-my-son boy pee on a tree at the Woodland Park Zoo, at the jaguar exhibit. Full view of everyone. Nasty. And I'm not 100% sure it's a real tree.

I have to say my absolute favorite is when girls wear a complete get up that they would wear to a club. 2 hour hair-do, spike heels, short shorts or skirts, tube/halter top, 20 pounds of make up and decked out in jewelry. Really now? What is the point of that? I will never understand the logic of some females.

And I have to agree with everyone talking about the Heelies. I hate those so much, mostly for the fact that I'm scared the kid using them is going to crash into me, I'll be blamed for their parent(s)' lack of education on proper use of the shoes(I guess I'll call them that) and it turn into a big deal on my vacation. In other words, save them for after school at the play ground or where ever it is kids play now.

Just my two cents.
