Things that go bump in the night

I've heard them a lot this week. Why is it that when I am home with Stephen, and we are watching tv, I never hear the noises, but as soon as I am alone, they are everywhere. Last night I was working on a project. I had Live365 on the computer listening to Disney Park Hopper radio and the tv was on. I kept hearing banging outside and scraping on the windows. I had all the doors locked and was so scared. This morning I went outside and investigated. It was windy, and the tree was scraping the window, and the wind had blown a piece of cardboard onto my porch and was banging my door. Now, why doesn't this happen when my 6'4", 240lb, Harley riding hubby's home.

BTW: My project? I purchase an inexpensive ($13) three shelf unit at Target and am decopaging (sp) all my Disney treasures onto it all the way back to our first trip. Park guides, luggage tags, entry passes, napkins, hotel maps, pictures of us, and a ton of other stuff. It is turning out sooo cute.

LOL! Of course it never happens when he's home. The house is always "louder" when you're alone.

Thats always the way it happens! When John is home the cats sleep and the dogs are quiet....let me be by myself for one night and the cats bump and run all night, the dogs bark at anything....I Know!!

My house is only 5 years old, but it bumbs and cracks like a 100 year old farm house when I'm alone. Only two more nights, and then I can rest again.

I will take pics of my bookshelf so you can see my handiwork. I told Stephen about it last night when he called and he expressed doubt that it would look good. Men, what do they know. I want to post how cute my car looks too with the Mickey Egg topper that mickeyfan1 sent me. I'll see what I can do.
