Things I wish I packed for WDW

Chapstick!! I paid a crazy price for a tube one trip. I will not forget it again.

Isn't that the truth. My lips get so dried out from the sun. I think they know they can charge $10 and we are desperate enough to buy it!

Also don't forget aloe and spray for the sunburn

YES, this. Didn't pack it last August because I packed plenty of sunscreen. Did not realize we would still get a bit burned even with perfect sunscreen application... when you're as fair as we are, and spend THAT much time in the Florida sun... yeah, you're gonna need that Aloe. Spent way too much for it at Everything Pop.

About 4-lbs of cash.

:rotfl2: how true!!

I pack a Belkin travel adopter for charging electronics
Laundry detergent, either Purex sheets or some pods.
Zip lock baggies for snacks.

That's it. Flying, I don't want to carry ant heavy stuff. I over pack enough clothing as is

I'm surprised at hearing people back clips to keep drapes closed! I've never had a problem with drapes in our rooms :confused3 they've always stayed closed, and overlap.

Items I learned to bring that make life easier:

Pop up hamper for dirty clothes
Shoe organizer for beauty supplies...no crowded sink tops
Sweater organizer to place folded clothes when there isn't enough drawer space for everyone
::

These items now live permanently in my suitcase along with a hanging organiser for everyone's socks.

I'm sure housekeeping across Europe and Florida think I am mad.

we like taking the little fans that can be purchased at walmart. they're about $2 each and have had 2 types, 1 which can mist water and the other just a little fan. soooooo much lighter to carry than the $17 ones sold in the park. just refill the misting ones at a water fountain or sink as needed. we like to travel light but sometimes you just need a fan.

I agree, mini fans are a must! Like the mini mister fans from Walmart; so much less clunky than full size mister fans.

Also like the Coleman brand mini Zephyr" fans - so much more powerful than foam bladed mini fans. Harder to find now, though; they used to have thm at target for $3, but many Targets stopped carrying them.
