I know this probably has been posted a million times, but what do I definetly need to pack. Any tips? We leave in three weeks. Ps. taking my 5 yo dd.:thanks:

Sunscreen....and use it liberally. Eve when you think you don't need it, you need it !!!

Sweat shirts for evenings.
a couple of pairs of comfy shoes.
I am flying, so we are packing alot of snacks for the plane. And activities to do on the plane. Any favorite stuffed animal 5YO likes to sleep with.

Extra undies and socks/shoes for when you get off wet rides so you don't feel wet all day. Electronic games, MP3, portable DVD player to keep occupied when nothing to do on the trip. Cell phone charger.

Make sure you all have comfortable shoes that don't cause blisters. The parks are no place to break in new shoes. Moleskin or bandaids are handy to carry, just in case!

Here are a few suggestions:

PAMom, Are you my wife in disguise? Oh my god, she has almost the same list !!! IT is the generic "packing for a trip" list. She prints it out, then highlights everything for that particular trip. I'm an engineer, and very structured, but this list is insane !! :scared1:

Your list is amazing and I have printed it! Thanks for helping me be more organized! It's grocery day and I've been trying to pick up a thing or two we don't already have for our trip, and your list will be indispensible! Thanks again.

Wow, excellent list PAMom!

You just about covered everything there ! Quite impressive work !

OMG! what an amazing list!!!! I may have to copy and paste that myself.

great job!

Go ahead and cut & paste away.

I'm a single mom, if you're volunteering to marry me, I won't say anything to your current DW. Only joking!!!!

I also have a list of meals that are easy to make if you're staying at a place with a kitchen. PM me if you want it.

Thank you. I got this list from a packing list somehow related to this site. I just saved what I needed. Whenever a thread pops up about packing I make sure that I subscribe to it so I can add stuff to my current list.

P. S. This is my very first multi-post. Yea for me, I actually did it!!

Thank you all so much!! I am blown away!! I was busy with school the last day or so and just checked this thread, made my day. I have so much on my mind right now I can hardly keep track of everything, this helps soo much!! I definetly would have forgotten the cell phone charger! lol. Thank you everyone:flower3: :flower3:
