Things I learned from my most recent trip...

Let's add this to the list:
My family of 5 is going to stand in line at a counterservice resturant talking and annoying everyone else because everyone else is reading the menu and will be prepared to order when they are next! Instead, when it's our turn, we're all just going to realize there is a menu and start reading it and discussing amongst ourselves what we want to order for 10 minutes!


My favorites: Families standing in the middle or an attraction entrance, yes blocking it, of course, and discussing who wants to ride it!

Stopping walking traffic to suddenly need to talk/look at map/pick their nose/whatever!

It's ok to walk up at the last minute and stand in front of people who have been waiting for something to start. It doesn't matter the event but it happens all the time.



It's ok to run over people with your stroller. Even more ok is if you’re riding in your electric ECV. It is also ok to smoke while driving your electric ECV.



It's ok to talk during shows and/or events. You get bonus points if you do so while talking on your cell phone.

While riding Disney transportation, under no circumstance are you to give up your seat for the elderly, pregnant, or exhausted young children. You're just as tired as they are. They can stand.

In the event that a young child begins to cry because they are exhausted and cannot sit, glare at the parents. Glare harder and make crude remarks if said parent accidentally bumps into you while trying to balance on a moving bus while holding the aforementioned child.

I have noticed this quite often. What are they teaching at schools these days? And what do they learn from Mom and Dad?

Just because you now have a new baby, there is absolutly no reason, for you or your hubby to alter your life style in the least. Priority seatings at expensive "romantic" restraunts late at night should not be changed. Even your infant cries at any time during the meal, just "shush" them, if that doesn't work oh well. It's your date, you can tune out the crying..

Nothing goes bettter with a $200 romantic meal (in one of the best restarants) ...then a new baby balling his lungs out, while mommy and daddy block out what has become white-noise to them

If you do not want to wake your young child up from their nap, just leave them in the stroller while you go on the ride. It is not necessary to have an adult watching the child. Nothing bad can happen at disney world.

Yes unfortunately...Thankfully, It only happened to me once as a cast member. It was a young child...under 18mos probably. The short story is Orange County Sheriffs came (Dis security called them) and the entire group was escorted out of Magic Kingdom ... and to the local sheriff's office ... although they had no idea why...because in their minds they had done nothing wrong.

Unfortunatly, I think this might be more common that we care to realize

I'll add:

-It's OK to play bumper cars on Mickeys Speedway, Father and daughter can continually ram into their sons/brothers ahead of them. It's been raining, the track is slippery, no CM's around, screw everyone else...we're having a lot of laughs. The 4 year old and his father in the lane next to you would probably enjoy it if you could knock the car off the guide and into their lane, or better yet into their car. You've watched a lot of NASCAR and feel qualified to bump as you please...no bumping rules are for wusses. If something goes wrong we'll sue Disney for poor ride design. It's not our fault.

Heres what I don't understand....if I can smell you coming a mile away, can you not smell yourself? Maybe they think its someone else. How come the other 10 people in their party can't smell them? Maybe I just have a sensitive nose....NOT!!

I don't know about any other Dis vacationers, but when I'm in DW, I take 2 showers a day! One in the morning, and another around 5 or 6, so I'm all fresh again to enjoy the night!

Had a guy cut me off near ToT as he didn't see me, and he actually said, "Sorry about that, pal." I was speechless...somebody ACTUALLY apologized for stepping in front of me, and I didn't know what to do.

I never could see the big deal over this ride. You wait A LONG time, while much better rides have short lines, this one NEVER has, and its kinda boring. Its WAAAAY too short of a ride, and the cars are bumpy and INCREDIBLY slow. They should repaint the cars like those old push walkers like grandma has and retitle it "The Rest Home Race". I think Its a Small World is faster. JMHO. Its Ok if you disagree.

My youngest daughter and I were waiting for DH and our oldest daughter to come off Space Mountain at Disneyland. There was this little girl, about the same age as our youngest, around two. She was being "supervised" by an "older" sibling/cousin. If I had to guess, maybe 7 years old - about the same age as our oldest daughter. Just the two of them...all alone in the queue area...waiting for the older siblings/cousins and *mom* to get off Space Mountain. We were there for a good 30+ minutes and the little girl was getting so upset, crying for her mommy, running away from her sibling/cousin, I just felt awful. I had packed some snacks for our daughter so I walked over and offered her an upopened bag of fruit snacks to try and distract her until her mom came off the ride. CM's were around kind of looking and wondering what they should do, but in the end they did nothing. The mom and siblings/cousins came off the ride looking like they had the best time. Didn't even ask how things went or anything. I was completely amazed someone would leave two young children in such a busy queue area all alone. It really did break my heart.

Dsnylvr- must be a New York thing because we do the same thing 2-3 showers a day.

When we go we count the "That was very unDisney, of you" Glad to say there weren't very many of them, but I have to say the best was when some 40 something lady cut off my friends 4 year old as she was about to give Snow White a hug, because she (Snow White) was her daughter's favorite Princess, and her little girl did not have to wait in line. I can take smoke and smelly people. (We not really) but rude that takes the cake. And it is very unDisney.

My favorite is when we go to a show and they announce move to the end of your row, and you have to climb over because they are'nt giving up thier center row seat.

I hate that, stopping in the middle of the row people, stomping on their feet is in order, in that case, so excuse me while I stomp on your feet, to get by, enjoy your show.

Why spend $$$ adopting a child? Just go to WDW and take one!
