Things I didn't pack but wish I would've ...

Please share anything that you realized once you got to WDW you wish you would've packed and why.

Not this past trip but the time before I did not bring the sample size laundry detergent. I did this time and it is much cheaper plus you get the kind you want.

malt vinegar- being british we like it on fries and it was so hard to find, only place we found with it as a condament was the fish & chip shop in Epcots UK.

Having flown i think I have a bigger list of things I wish I'd have left home and saved on carrying things at the airport than I have of things i didn't take and wished we did.

Actually- probably old shoes, I stupidly I went with super new fantastic everyone raves about scholls and crocs- both new and OWWWWW I wished I had taken my old running shoes instead pretty quickly. Also bandaids, lots of them and blister cushions/plasters

Didn't pack? Disboards had me so over prepared my family had a good laugh! But I have to admit in all the over organization, I forgot my littlest ones socks.

I am right there with jenrein. I tend to overpack when going to Disney, or any other vacation for that matter. It has always been a habit of mine.

I didnt pack enough Cherrios for my DD and I could not find them anywhere in any of the parks or the baby care centers!

I don't know if you have kids or not but there have been disney and/or non-disney trips (can't remember anymore, 3 kids and my memory is shot) when I have been without Children's Motrin (our pain killer of choice) and seriously regretted it...that said, don't forget the dosing spoon too...this is how my luck goes...if you pack it (and don't forget to pack it in a plastic bag) you won't need it and if you don't pack it, you will....

No matter how well organized Iam I always forget something. Last time it was socks so I had to buy them in the park. Another time when my daughter was just in underwear I forgot to bring more thatn 1 change of clothes for her and she had 2 accidents in the park. Now I have the worlds most expensive socks and underwear! I have a packing list and now I always check it twice.

Ditto, except our snack was those little packs of fruit snacks..gummies DS calls them.

My girls are 11 & 13 and until just recently I still had a dosage spoon thingy in my travel bag .

When our girls were younger the younger of the two was still using a floaty suit to s wim. Well, she didn't want to wear it in the "big pool" at the Contemporary. I paid $45 for a suit for my size 6 child. Another time we were there over Spring break and they both thought that it would still be too cold to swim. Well, Summerhouse at DTD is made for parents of kids like that! Two kids suits set me back over $100! Also, don't forget moleskin if you are prone to having shoes that rub. Also, small scissors to trim it to fit Another thing I used to carry when the girls were little was a roll of masking tape, wonderful for covering exposed electrical outlets to keep little fingers safe!
