Things I definitely will NOT do on my next WDW trip...

I will not go to disney on new years eve EVER AGAIN...AS LONG AS I SHALL LIVE...

I will not try and be "Deja...DISNEY SPEED RACER"...and stop to sniff random GREEN BUSHES...lol

I will not FORGET my sunglasses...especially @ MK

I will not get (IRATE in my mind) when I am run over by THOSE huge blue blocks with wheels @ the MK

I will not waste another precious Disney day at Islands of Adventure. I didn't like it the first time I went, and didn't like it this time either. My 5 year old couldn't go on most of the rides, so I ended up sitting around waiting for DH, DS and his friend while they rode on roller coasters the whole time :(
I should have stayed home with DD and enjoyed another day at the Magic Kingdom with her instead...

I will not go to the parks that have early entry or evening hours because of the crowds they draw. I will not eat at Sci-Fi or ABC Commissary again. I will not spend an hour waiting to watch a parade; been there, done that.

I WILL stay longer.

I WILL NOT try to explain how we manage to go every year...(See Dave Ramsey.)

I WILL shop consignment and learn how to sew so I can stay at the Polynesian. :mickeyjum

I love the new smilies!

I will NOT try to set the alarm clock in the dark...we ended up in the parking lot at MK VERY early...we had the #1 spot! Just like the Griswalds!!!

I will NOT cry when we leave...okay...maybe a little....

Just like the OP - I will not forget my sunglasses! Especially in the middle of the summer!

I WILL NOT be as "scheduled" this time
I WILL NOT miss Illuminations again this year
I WILL allow more "down" time to relax at the hotel & swim, etc...
I WILL NOT feel like I need to see and do everything

:rainbow:

I will NOT ride Mission: Space ever again, ever, ever!

I will NOT eat at Sommerfest in Germany (except for dessert).

I will NOT bypass the pool slide just because I feel idiotic since all the other riders were under the age of 8 and I was going to tidal wave them out of the pool when I reached the bottom.

I WILL share meals when on the dining plan.

I WILL take my children next time and for the foreseeable future.

I WILL meet more of the characters and get autographs.

I WILL ride whatever I want and leave my husband waiting for me outside when he doesn't want to ride.

I WILL ride Expedition Everest! :cloud9:

/
I will NOT ride Mission Space, Star Tours and Space Mountain this time (love them all- but I must be getting old cuz they all made me sick last time!)

I will NOT eat at Flame Tree Barbecue.

I will NOT ignore a hot spot- and I WILL avoid a ginormous blister on the bottom of my foot.

I WILL bring a sterile needle in case I somehow get said blister anyway.

Take the kids! Just kidding we had a great time, although there were a few moments mostly centered around all of the homework the teachers sent down with them. After about the third day I said the heck with it if the teacher don't like it they can deal with me when we get back.

I will NOT ride It's a Small World ever, ever again (my MIL talked me into going on it for the first and only time)

Speaking of MIL, I will NOT let her guilt us into asking her to come along on our next trip (that's a whole other post)

I'll acknowledge from the start of the trip that I want the $99 Photopass CD and get as many pictures as possible (instead of deciding to do it on the second day and missing some great photo ops).

1. I will not fail to make my dining reservations 180 days in advance.

2. I will not sleep late and miss park openings. :coffee:

3. I will not eat at Boma. :crazy2: (sorry, Boma fans)

4. I will not drive my family crazy with planning and drill-sergeant tactics. :rolleyes1

5. I will not miss the little things by being too focused on the big things. :magnify:

6. I will not lose my temper at any time. :furious:

Tim, who thinks that planning a WDW vacation for 8 months is fun! :woohoo:

I WILL NOT worry about tomorrow's plan when enjoying today's plans!!

If DH stays home again next time, I WILL shut my cell phone off from 8 am till 8 pm every day!!!!

1. I will not micromanage every minute of our trip (DD 6 still covers her ears at the words Tour Guide Mike) DD and DH did not enjoy doing Disney commando style.

2. I will not (or will try my very best) not to start on our second day of our trip being sad thinking oh no we only have six days left and so on.

3. I will not ride on a raft full of sweaty hot people to Tom Sawyers Island.

4. I will not wait 45 minutes to ride Dumbo when you do practically the same thing on the magic carpet rides.

5. I hopefully will not forget to take my rain ponchos to the parks. (last trip when I took them it did not rain and when I forgot them it did.

6. I will not wait in a long fast pass or stand by line for Stitch. I would probably only ride it again if it was practically walk on.

:guilty: :confused3 :rolleyes1  I will no longer allow others to "partially" convince me that it is weird for a 58 year old, divorced male to go to WDW by himself. Not just once but for the past 5 consecutive years.

I don't drink or gamble or smoke...why can't I do this without people trying to make me feel guilty about it. Or worse yet, my finding myself making excuses to people as to why I go.
This mid-40's gal goes solo also (next trip coming up in a few months) and doesn't CARE if others think it is weird. Obviously they are confused and just don't get the magic! :wizard:

I, too, don't drink, gamble or smoke, but can sure do some damage to Mickey bars, turkey legs and, let's not forget, popcorn in the souvenir cups!

So, not to hijack this thread any further, I will not over-plan my trip so I can take time to experience the magic. Made the mistake one year of practically being on an itinerary and came back more stressed than when I left. Whew! Learned that one the hard way! :flower:

I will never, ever do Disney World without TourGuideMike again. His advice just flat out works. We never waited more than 10 minutes for anything, even during high season.

I will not pass up as many photopass oportunities.
I will not feel as quilty for spending more time lounging at the resort. Since it was DH first trip, I really wanted him to see as much as possible. Believe me, he did!!! What a great man!!!!!!

I WILL NOT get so obsessed w/ my compulsive planning that I forget that the purpose of going to WDW is to have fun, rather than have the most perfectly planned schedule.

I WILL NOT forget that my kids have more fun when I am "mom" rather than a commondo tour guide.

I WILL NOT end up in the Celebration Hospital emergency room w/ a gall bladder attack brought on while running from 50s Prime Time Cafe (after eating fried chicken) to get fast passes to RnR!

I will NOT eat at Tony's!
I will NOT go on Mission Space twice in a row!

Oh boy.... did we ever find out this was true on our last trip (wait at least about 30 min or so between rides...)

I will not let DS15 talk me out of leaving MK before Wishes is finished. Our last trip we ended up at MK nearly every night and I don't think I ever saw Wishes through completely from beginning to end.

I will never forget to allow a "day off" where we can lounge around the hotel. The thing my dd's remember most about the last trip is when they swam at midnight!
