We will be staying at VWL for one night, post Thanksgiving DCL cruise. We switched this ressie from BWV, since we will go to MVMCP that evening. Does anyone have suggestions (in the event it's too cool for the pool) for things to do to keep my nephews (11 & 9) occupied? They aren't the relax and chill type. Luckily, we have 215 lunch reservations at Whispering Canyon, so only need about 3-4 hours of activity btwn when we arrive and when we eat.

TIA

Wilderness Lodge has a great Hidden Mickey hunt. Ask at the concierge desk for a copy :thumbsup2

You can walk over to Fort Wilderness and look around or rent bikes and ride over there. Rent water boats and ride around the lake. Take the resort boat to Contemporary and check out the arcade.

:cool1:

ask for an activities list when you arrive - most of the stuff is in the afternoon - not evening.

don't think you can use the activity center (community hall) at BLT - bcv can use BWV - so would think you can - ask when you check in.

that say BLT is very much into security. So even if they are allowed to use it one night - they might need to come back to get their stuff.

biking/boating is not done in the evening either.

you could take the bus or boat to MK and then monorail to Polyn - think it has some nighttime activities. take the monorail back to CR and then boat back to WL.

oh forget all the resorts are showing movies at night - so this might work for you.

Val is probably the best resort for things to do for children, check with concierge when you get there, everything from biking, hiking to horseback riding, the list goes on.
