Things do to Beyone the Parks...

I am a Disney veteran, having vacationed there too many times to count, and also worked at the Poly one summer during college. My BF and I will be staying at POR at the end of November, and I am looking for some cool things to do outside of the parks, but still on property. He has only been to WDW once and I really want to show him that there is more to WDW than just the parks. Here is what I have come up with so far:
renting bikes at POR
renting boats on Seven Seas Lagoon/Bay Lake
having drinks at the Poly and watching fireworks from the beach

Any other ideas? What is your favorite thing to do at the resorts or outside the parks? Thanks so much!

My DH and I sometimes stay at WDW resorts and don't even GO to the parks!
We love the resorts and all of the wonderful things to do on property.
Here is a brief list!

1. Walk around Boadwalk at the Yacht and Beach Club esp. in the evening.
2. Play Mini golf at Fantasia Gardens or at Blizzard Beach
3.Catch a movie at Pleasure Island

Just have a great time. Jen

Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk is THE most fun place on Disney property. And, if you end up there and Scotty and Ray are playing, please tell Scotty that Ginny from Arkansas is still in love with him.

Watch the Geyser at the WL
Check out the Action at the BW at Night
Downtown Disney at Night
Stroll around the Poly at night while looking at the GF and the Cont with their lights on
Late night snack
Walk around the Coronado and see all Mayan details (they have a cute shop too!)
