That is just awful but it raises so many questions. How did he break his neck doing the pirate tutorial? Isn't it a "street show" and with a broken his neck, wouldn't an ambulance need to be called in which case, Disney would know the seriousness of his injuries.

This is so sad. My thoughts and prayers for his family.

there is a thread on the theme parks board about this.
First reported the day he had the accident.
Apparently he lost his footing and fell into a wall and broke his neck and also needing 55 stitches to his face.
There is someone posting there that has a connection to get the news as it comes.

Someone in the other post mentioned that they are still performing, only at the time of their posting the stage was not being used.

Also, for the person who asked how he lost his footing, I have read the stage was wet in a spot.
