They've done away with the AP?

Someone was asking a question about upgrading to an annual pass so I checked the Universal website. They used to have a relatively inexpensive annual pass, then a preferred pass with free parking and finally the premiere pass with all the bells and whistles. Now it's only the PAP and Premiere unless you're a FL resident.

It's actually been a pretty long time since I had to buy a new pass, I normally just renew my PAP. Has it been a while since they stopped selling regular APs or is this part of the "new, improved" pricing?

I also noticed they didn't have a renewal price for PAPs but you may have to log in to the AP site to see them. I hope that's the case.

It appears the Power Pass is now only available to FL residents.

I can't get on the site but if they did, it looks like they took another page out of Disney's book with the new ticket structure by only offering the Seasonal to FL Residents.

I called AP services the PAP renewal is $150, it's $143 at AAA. The regular old AP is gone. They may offer the Power Pass to GA residents I'll have to look into that.
