~~ They're leaving the nest, sew it's time for a trip - or two - or three...~~ D~'s bag ~9/22 ~~

Looks like V had a nice birthday. Crossing my fingers that things will go well with Cooper and MM when Cooper gets out of his puppy phase.
I'm glad you had a nice mothers day even if you had to go several places to find lunch.

Happy Mother's day!
Sorry cracker Barrel had a wait! we went last night and it was icky.

I LOVE puppy training!!! good Luck! MM will tell the little snot who's boss soon enough!

I'm glad you had a happy Mother's day. We wanted to go to Cracker Barrel, too but ended up with Chinese takeout instead.
My daughter got me an Alex and Ani bracelet, too. It's the one with the lotus. She got me the mom one for Christmas.
We stopped in at my mom's and gave her the plant my daughter got herr. I'd give her roses earlier in the week.
Have a good day.
Liz

Sorry Cracker Barrel was a bust, we stayed home and I cooked a big dinner for my mom, and my daughter and her family..It is easier to do that then to fight the crowds and the long drive to anywhere good to eat. We live in the middle of nowhere, so the closest big city to us is 2-2 1/2 hours drive. Not worth the hassle. Glad your Mother's Day turned out ok..

So happy you are getting back into a routine. I love my routines during the week. I refuse to go out on holidays like Easter and Mother's Day. It is no fun.

Good luck with puppy training. Also Cooper and MM will work it out just give MM time.

Yah - I am starting to think that too... It's just too much of a hassle, and too many people.

Thanks... It's a little crazy right now, Cooper is definitely a puppy! LOL

First of all... Happy birthday Victoria!

Oh my gosh reading through your daily puppy training! So glad I have kitties. Just clean the litter box everyday.

Sounds like you had a wonderful mothers day! I had dinner for my mom and step dad and my 2 boys and hubby spoiled me rotten with flowers for outside around our waterfall and 20 bags of mulch! Yes! I was so excited for new mulch! Call me crazy we really needed it. We have alot of tiered flower beds as our house is situated on a hill.
Glad you got your computer back and are getting back to normal routine. Cooper needs his own Facebook page! He could be the next Boo or Dougie the ****zou ( I bet I spelled that wrong, oh my heavens! Ha!)
Yes, cracker barrel is a mad house. Mothers day is The biggest day for cracker barrel... next is thanksgiving if I remember correctly.
Anymore new plans on your disney girly trip? You inspired me to ask my two besties here if they would like the idea of doing a disney girls trip. As they have never been.
...
.....
They love the idea!!!!! We're shooting for 2018. Funny its so far away....as next year it's our hubs 20th anniversary trip and the year after that, I have to take our youngest. ...
Have a terrific week!

Thank you - I will pass along your birthday wishes. :lovestruc

Yah - I'd forgotten how much work puppy training is! LOL But he's so cute - that all makes up for it. LOL

Oooh that is a wonderful mother's day... I hope you were able to get it all put in?

Hahaha... I had a FB page for Rufus, but it was so sad when he died, I just let it go.

Well, I guess I know that now... LOL It was crazy!

That sounds like a great girls trip! It's fun to plan them, but they sure sneak up on you... It's hard to believe that ours was already a year ago. I wish we could do it again!

She did have a nice birthday, it was a lot of fun!

I hope so too, LOL... MM loves having a little brother - but he loves having a break from him too.

Thank you! I hope you are doing well Lillian. How was your trip?

Happy Mother's day!

Thanks!!! Same to you!

Yah - it really makes me not want to go there, every time we do - it's such a long wait. I don't know if it's because there are so few of them here? Or if they are like that everywhere?

You can come train him - I don't mind. ::yes::

Thank you... Same to you! I should have gone for the Chinese - LOL - it would have been faster, I am sure. ;)

Awww... That was so sweet of her! I love my Alex and Ani bracelets! Do you have some of the Disney ones too?

Sounds like you had a nice Mother's Day! :lovestruc

Have a great day Liz! :)

Yah - I think I am going to start doing this... It's so frustrating. We have to drive far too - not as far as you - but a good 45 minutes for anything good... So, yah - I start to wonder if it's worth the hassle too. Especially when Josh can grill something and it tastes way better. Sometimes it's just nice to "get out" though. ::yes:: I hope you had a very enjoyable Mother's Day!

I worked all day in my seiwng room yesterday... I was able to get everything done that I'd needed to.

I took V to her trap shoot, she did well - she is improving nicely. :thumbsup2

Then we came home, Gus was here, we all played a game of Scrabble - I won! :woohoo: Then we had dinner and I went to be shortly after... I was fighting a massive headache.

This morning - my headache is still there. Sigh. Hopefully I can get it to go away after breakfast?

I am at Target all day today.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Prayers and good thoughts to all of you! :grouphug:

I hope your headache goes away. A little caffeine usually fixes any headache that I wake up with. :surfweb:

Do you think that Cooper might want to be the alpha dog?

I hope your headache goes away soon. I realized that my headaches are related to foods that I eat. Whenever I eat bittersweet chocolate chips, I get a headache since doing the whole30.

Had a couple of rough weeks at work but hopefully that is over and I got all caught up again. Cooper is just so cute, good luck with the potty training. MM reminds me of my Alex, he's so tolerant of the other dogs and doesn't fight back most times. Last night though, he had had enough of Sierra snipping at him and he seriously took her down. It was pretty funny to see the look on her face at that moment. :rotfl:

Hope your headache went away. Cooper is just full of energy, but oh so cute! MM is being really good with him. When he has had enough he just might give it to Cooper. Ugh, Cracker Barrel. We did that one year. NEVER AGAIN!!! We celebrated Mother's Day here on Saturday. My mom and I had the option of Saturday or Sunday. My dad and daughter took us to breakfast (at Cracker Barrel-to a table with no issues), then they took us shopping, then off to a Veteran's BBQ then home for the evening. It was a perfect day!
We are down to single digits for our trip, which means I really need to start getting things together. I did pull out the suitcases. In which my dogs gave me the dirty look of "seriously, you are going away?". Who are they kidding, my parents are watching them which means: SPOILED.
Hope you have a great day at Target!!

How great that you got everything that you wanted done in your sewing room yesterday. A headache is no fun. I hope it's better now.
I hope you have a great day at Target.

My trip to Stockholm, Sweden went well. It was a pure geocaching trip with fellow geocachers from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany and USA. It was a fun but exhausting trip.

Looks like V had a great birthday! Glad your Mothers Day was good minus the Cracker Barrel time wasted, bummer . Hope your headache is better. The weather changed here drastically, 88 yesterday to 58 today, and that always gives my DH a headache. Cooper and MM are so sweet! I am sure they will be best friends.
Have a great evening!

Thanks, it did finally go away on it's own. Thankfully - Target would have been a very long day otherwise. ::yes::

It's possible? The way I am training him though - I am Alpha dog... And he knows it. I've come to the conclusion - even though Josh is an excellent hunting dog trainer, he isn't a very good house dog trainer... So, I've taken it upon myself to house train Cooper - which I think is a wise choice. :thumbsup2

I will take him for a month.. LOL!

Hehehe... I am sure you would. :lovestruc

I hope your headache goes away soon. I realized that my headaches are related to foods that I eat. Whenever I eat bittersweet chocolate chips, I get a headache since doing the whole30.

Thanks! It did go away on it's own. I am finding that the older I get, the more my headaches are related to my cycles... And that's all I'll say about that. LOL But happy that it's gone. ::Yes::

Interesting about the headaches/chocolate chips correlation... Do you think it's due to the caffeine?

I am sorry that the last few weeks have been hard on you Ariana. Hopefully it's getting better?

Thanks! We are getting there slowly... He never has accidents in the house - unless I am not doing my job properly... So, I've been quite dilligent - however - I can only do so much. LOL

I think MM will get sick of Cooper eventually... I know he really enjoys having a playmate though. There's been a few times where MM has stood up for himself - but not often enough, IMO. LOL at the look on Sierra's face... I've seen it - it's quite humorous. ::yes::

Thank you - yes it did go away on it's own.

Yes, I sure hope MM stands up for himself soon. I try not to interfere, because I know they need to work it out on their own... But sometimes I just have to step in and say enough is enough... I do feel badly for MM - but I also know, if it gets bad enough, he'll get mad. I think he is just so happy to have someone around to play with, and it's not as if MM doesn't dish it out too - he does. ::yes::

Glad you had a wonderful Mother's day!! It sounds awesome!!! :lovestruc

Yay for single digits! :woohoo: That was quick! LOL Glad you have your parents watching your dogs.

Thanks! I did! I hope you have a great day too!

Yes, it was nice... I'll be putting in a full day up there again today too. I'd love to squeeze in a nap, and a walk... We'll see. :scratchin

Glad you had a fun trip, I hope you are getting some rest now! ::yes::

She did... Thank you! Yes, lesson learned... Avoid CB on Mother's Day - LOL. My headache went away on it's own - so that was nice. ::yes::

I know!!! It's super cold here too! Like, chilly in the house cold. All decked out in my sweatpants and sweatshirts today - at least the sun is out, for the moment, so it feels like it *should* be nice outside.

I sure hope Coop and MM will be best of friends - I think they will be... Most of the time, when they are biting, they are playing... but I still worry. ::yes::

I hope you have a great day! Thanks for stopping by! :thumbsup2

*******************************************************************************

My headache finally went away yesterday, so that was good.

I had a decent day at Target - nothing exciting happened.

Cooper went to stay with one of our old neighbors at her new hobby farm... He had a blast! He was such a good boy for her too... I am hoping she will take him for the next 2 days I work, then the girls will be home for the summer and there should be someone here with him most days that I won't have to worry about it. :scratchin

We had a relaxing night last night and went to bed early.

Cooper has slept through the last 4 nights, which is so nice... I really didn't like getting up during the night to take him out to potty. ::yes:: He is also getting really good at "kenneling up" on his own and when we put him to bed... Very little whining anymore.

Today... I'll be appliqueing all day.... I am really excited about this bag - it's unique and fun!

I am hoping for a nap later... and if I can get done what I need to get done... I may go to town early and go for a walk before I pick up the girls? I am not sure yet?

I've already done my workout this morning... I did Level 2 of the 30 Day Shred... It's mostly planks - and HARD. But I love it because it's quick and I can be done with it fast!

I hope you all have any amazing day!!! Prayers and Pixie Dust to all of you! :grouphug:

So happy you're feeling better!! Cooper is too cute happy he is adjusting well!

Everyday when I start my commute (by train) and I check the DIS and you haven't updated yet I worry a little....this isn't normal right!?!? (Sounds way creepier then it did it my head)

That's great news that your headache went away.
How great that Cooper is sleeping all night. Crossing my fingers that that will continue.
I hope you have a great day in your sewing room and that you will get time for a nap as well.

I bet MM appreciates having a break from Cooper while Cooper probably appreciates having a little more activity in his day. It sounds like a Win-win to me. :)

Yay! Headache gone.
Yay! Cooper is sleeping through the night.
Yay! Hoping you give us a look at your bag when it's finished? Love seeing your park bags! Have a good week!

Sounds like Sooper Cooper is settling in nicely :)
Ahem.....21 days to go!!!! Just in case you forgot!! Yay!

Hi D, Following :yay:
I haven't had my laptop during the day in ages....just using my cell phone which limits what I see compared to using my computer.
