~~ They're leaving the nest, sew it's time for a trip - or two - or three...~~ D~'s bag ~9/22 ~~

I'm glad things are going well with Cooper's training. It sounds like he had a good time at your friend's farm and it probably gave Max a break. My daughter was talking about training dogs the other day and total agrees with you about teaching the dog who's in charge. that's been the problem with her mother-in-law's dog. The only person who that dog listen to is my daughter. She walks all over her owner.
I have 3 Alex and Ani Disney bracelets to answer your question. One is Mickey, one is the dotted Minnie and the other is Sleeping Beauty. I wanted to get another one on my last trip but couldn't make up my mind.
Have a good day,
Liz

So glad your headache went away. Headaches are the worst, IMO.
So glad to hear Cooper is sleeping all night. That's the best. As long as you are alpha both dogs will work out their pecking order themselves.
When I got my second dog, she would bite on my Big Guy's paws to play. He would ignore her then after so much he would go after her. She would take off and slide right under the couch or chair and "fight" him off. Then one day her chunky rear end didn't fit. Needless to say that kind of playing ended real fast. Now they get along real well and are the best of friends.

Time did go fast for our trip. I just thought to myself I have to stop by and see Santos and get some of his beignets!!

Have a great day!

So happy you're feeling better!! Cooper is too cute happy he is adjusting well!

Everyday when I start my commute (by train) and I check the DIS and you haven't updated yet I worry a little....this isn't normal right!?!? (Sounds way creepier then it did it my head)

Thanks!!! He is adorable - and I agree, glad he is adjusting well.

Hahaha... Yes, this is normal... I am the same way if most of you don't post once in a while - I get worried. I hope it's normal anyways... LOL :scratchin

That's great news that your headache went away.
How great that Cooper is sleeping all night. Crossing my fingers that that will continue.
I hope you have a great day in your sewing room and that you will get time for a nap as well.

I know - it's so nice that he is sleeping through the night... I hope so too! LOL

Thanks - I did... No nap though - I went and did some much needed grocery shopping though. ::yes::

I bet MM appreciates having a break from Cooper while Cooper probably appreciates having a little more activity in his day. It sounds like a Win-win to me.

Yes, I think MM did enjoy the break. LOL It's hard being a big brother! ::yes::

Yay! Headache gone.
Yay! Cooper is sleeping through the night.
Yay! Hoping you give us a look at your bag when it's finished? Love seeing your park bags! Have a good week!

I know - very happy that he is sleeping through the night... we are on 5 nights in a row! :woohoo:

Sounds like Sooper Cooper is settling in nicely
Ahem.....21 days to go!!!! Just in case you forgot!! Yay!

Totally didn't forget - it's on the forefront of my mind! I am sooooo excited! :woohoo:

Hi D, Following :yay:
I haven't had my laptop during the day in ages....just using my cell phone which limits what I see compared to using my computer.
Sheila Griffin

Hi Shelia!!! It's great to see you! It's been a while... But that's OK - I know you are still on FB, so I get to see you there. Welcome back!

Hey D! Glad Cooper is adjusting nicely! Also love the picture's from V's birthday and also your Mother's Day! Glad you had a great day with the family!!

Thanks Casey!!!

I need to get over to your TR... I haven't checked in there in a couple of weeks. I'll try to do that today.

Yes, It's so important... he definitely listens to me better than he listens to anyone else in the house... Which may cause problems later. Just like MM listens to Josh more than he listens to anyone else... :scratchin I am definitely 2nd in command with MM, but still...

I love the dotted Minnie one - it's one of my favs... Probably because it's in color - and I love that! And I love red dots... That one is on my list to get one day, hopefully it's still there when I do my next trip? I also want to get a 2015 one... And one of the wraps. ::yes:: It's a problem... Just like my Vera addiction... And my Disney addiction... And my Lilly addiction... Anything else? :scratchin LOL

yes, I love that Cooper is finally sleeping through the night... It felt like forever - even if it was only for a few days. LOL I don't know how I would function with a real baby? LOL Thankfully I am done with that stage.

LOL - I love that story! The sad part is that Cooper bites MM, then he totally tackles him... Coop can totally defend himself. It seems like he is already half MM's size! It won't be long, and Coop will be bigger. ::yes::

Oooh - I hope you do stop to say hello to Santos... If you see him, please give him a giant hug from me! Cannot wait to see him again!

You too!!! :lovestruc

*****************************************************************************

Just a super fast update today...

I had a great sewing room day yesterday! I was able to finish the applique for this week's bag... I really love it! It's gonna be a cool bag!

Cooper had ZERO accidents in the house yesterday... However, he did have one this morning... But still - it's progress. ::yes:: I was very proud of him.

I opted for no nap and went to town to get groceries instead... I think it was a wise choice.

We had chicken tacos for dinner last night - they were super good.

Today... I will be working on bag assembly. I hope to finish in my sewing room early.

Then I am going to town to pick the girls up from school... We've been dying to see the Age of Adeline movie... So we are going to see that today... I think Gus is joining us too? He leaves in 2 weeks for school - so I know he is trying to spend as much time with Allison as he can... I guess that means "chick flicks" are OK? LOL

We are all excited to see the movie though.

I plan on starting a few side projects again tomorrow. ::yes:: And hopefully work on them a bit this weekend?

This weekend is also opening weekend for Valleyfair... Since we are season passholders, we like to go and "open the park"... So, BFF, O, V and I are going on Saturday... Both Gus and Allison work... but since V has church and Trap on Sunday... I may go again on Sunday with Allison and Gus? Not sure? We'll see?

Here's my favorite MM/Cooper picture from yesterday... They make such cute brothers!!! :lovestruc

Such a cute photo of the brothers!

Good luck with your ADRs tomorrow! I can't wait to read more about your plans. :thumbsup2

Sounds like you had a GREAT day yesterday :woohoo:
Crossing my fingers that you will finish in your sewing room early today. Have a great day.

Today I've been polishing my silver on my national costume that I'm going to wear on 17th May (our National day). To be honest I can't see the difference between the before and after look of my silver :(

You will have to let us know if the Age of Adeline is worthy of going to see it. I have been wanting to see it, but not my kids. Their list is Pitch Perfect 2, Tomorrowland, Inside Out. We just saw the Avengers. I rarely get to see a movie I want to see.

D, I am slowly trying to catch up (near impossible) since back from my trip. I am LOVING the pictures of Cooper and his big brother (enjoying the ones on FB as well). It looks like V had a great birthday celebration.

Tomorrow is ADR day for our November trip... Suzi is working on that.

Eeeek! ADR date already?? :confused3 Wow, I've really been behind. You need to type slower or something.... :lmao:

Glad Cooper is doing well! And the furbabies look so adorable together! :cloud9:

Awwww...love your "brothers" photo! Too cute!

Can't wait to hear more trip updates from you. We have very FEW ADRs for our July trip, since we are trying to do it on the cheap and do a lot of cooking in our room. Kids asked the other day about character meals...and I had to tell them we had NONE planned! Sorry kids! :guilty:

Still going to be a fun trip I hope with lots of extra pool and waterpark time and hanging out at our resort, something we don't do a lot on our trips.

Can't wait to see what you all do and get...

I am very excited!

Such a cute photo of the brothers!

I know - they are so cute together! I just love them both!

Thanks - Suzi did all of the work. I did nothing. <--- Ashamed. I am very excited about what she was able to get for us though. ::yes::

Thanks! I did.

I love your national costume! I cannot imagine how much work it must be to polish all of that silber! You should post pictures of it here again, so those that didn't read along before can see it. :thumbsup2

It was a good movie... I would probably rent it, vs. going to see it. Worth renting definitely. ::yes::

Hehehe... All of those are on V's list too! ::yes::

Welcome back Kathy! I know - it's so hard catching up! Take your time, I understand!

You are going to have a blast!!! I am sure of it! I am really looking forward to a more relaxed trip as well... It always seems like we are trying to "do it all/see it all" and I really want to take it slower! ::yes::

***********************************************************************

I had a great sewing room day yesterday... I was able to finish what I needed to finish.

I did my heavy lifting in the morning... I haven't weighed since the end of January and the end of my Whole30... I didn't feel like i was doing badly, I just felt like I was stalled. Well, I weighed in and I've gained 8 lbs since Jan!!! :( I am so disappointed in myself. I like to think that was all muscle - and maybe it was? Since I am wearing all of the same clothes and they fit me the same... but I am not taking any chances. If any of you are friends with me on MFP - you'll notice that I logged in there for the first time in months... Time to get serious again and journal my food - as much as I DETEST doing it. It is my ultimate goal to be in my goal size this summer - and times' a wastin'... and I am not any closer to my goal size. Starbucks is OUT... Being boycotted indefinitely... Well, the exception is the Americano... I can have those. It's only espresso after all. ::yes:: But the rest - it's out... I shouldn't be having it anyways, there is so much gunk in the syrup alone. So, there you have it... Me being honest with myself and all of you. ::yes::

We went to see Age of Adeline last night... It was a good movie - not sure if it was theatre worthy? But it was good. Only one little trickle of a tear from me, when her dog died - he died of the same thing Rufus did.

Only to come home last night... Poor Allison... I was in the livingroom with Josh and she came down just bawling - carrying her fish bowl. Finley died yesterday. Allison is so upset about it! SHe feels like she did something wrong... He lived a little over a year - which is pretty good for a beta. It was pouring rain last night, so we couldn't bury him... Had to put him in the freezer, and hoping for better weather today. So, hugs for Allison today would be OK... She is quite sad - although she is better this morning than she was last night.

Today... It's 30 Day Shred day for me... Level 3. Gonnna work it hard!

Then I'll be in my sewing room the rest of the morning, trying to work on a side project or two. :thumbsup2

The girls are off of school early. So, Gus is coming after work to hang out with Allison until she has to work. I told him he could hang out with V and I today, if he wanted to - so he didn't have to drive home, only to come right back when Alli is off of work. Not sure what we are going to do? We might hit Valleyfair... Since it's "free" for all of us. We'll see? I know V has some shopping she wants to do too. ::yes::

Thanks for typing slower this morning. :thumbsup2

Your ADRs are awesome. Those are some of our favorite places to eat.

You must really like Kona for breakfast. ;). I've never had breakfast there but it does look delicious. :)

I try and not weigh myself. I'm trying to go by how I feel and look. I looked at pictures of my from my sister's wedding 2 weeks ago, and was amazed at how I looked.

Your ADRs look great!

So sorry about Allison's fish. :sad1:  But you are right, a year is pretty good for a Beta. I've had quite a few of them over the years but finally got tired of the cleaning.

Your ADRs look great, a couple of my favorites in there!

Poor Alli  it's not fun loosing a pet.
Your ADR's looks great for your next trip.

I was at my neurology physiotherapist on Wednesday and she asked me if I was walking, since I've always come in my wheel chair now. I said that the reason I always use my wheel chair when I come to her is because my wheel chair is the best chair to sit in when I'm doing my exercises. And that I'm still walking when inside at home and sometimes outside if I'm going short distance. She said that sounds good and keep doing it. I agreed because it's important to be able to walk when needed. Well when I came home I decided I wanted to find out just how much I'm walking a day. So I installed a activity tracker app on my phone just for fun to see how much I'm really walking.

As you know I posted pictures of me in my national costume last year here on the DIS. About a week ago my sister sent me a message on facebook saying: Did you know that if you google Tromsøfestdrakt (the name of my costume) the first pictures that comes up is of you? Well I had to google and she was right. And when I saw where the pictures came from it was from the DIS :)
Here are the pictures for you all again (after struggling getting into my Flickr account and Photobuck acount :confused3 )
