Ladies, I cannot tell you how excited I am! Yesterday the official wedding DVD arrived, all 1hr 30mins of it, and today the postman knocked and delivered the proofs of our official photos. They are brilliant!
The video is great, if a little cheesy in parts but heck, what's a wedding video without cheese? There's video of: everyone getting ready, me arriving at the ceremony, the wedding party faffing before we go in, the whole ceremony, the photography session, guests mingling, all 3 speeches, cake cutting and the evening reception. There's some comedy dancing/air guitaring that needs to be seen to be believed too. The video guy has edited it all with our choice of music on the tope, we've used parts of the spundtrack to Wishes and Illuminations, there's also some music from Fantasmic in there!
It's been great to see it all again, some stuff I barely remember as my stomach was churning so badly at the time I could barely focus! The speeches were wonderful to hear again, especially the best man, he had us all rolling in laughter. Obviously I can't upload the whole thing, the file would be enormous, I'm hoping to extract some clips though so i'll do my best to get them up.
As for the photos, they're stunning. Especially my bright red hair in the midday sun against a white dress LOL! I have pics of everyone and everything - I'm delighted with them. I'll upload them once I've spoken to the photographer about how getting prints etc is going to work.
