Interestingly, the woman who posted the sob story/sick child which prompted your original thread is back on today looking for BWV reservation for 1/4-6/06. This time at least, she hasn't posted asking for pity and $8 points.

Also, this will be about her FIFTH trip to WDW since begging for points on the cheap on 9/26/05. Hopefully, nobody falls for the "poor me" story if she goes into that in private.

I can only imagine what a horror she would be to rent to. Whoever rents to her -- at any price -- deserves whatever they get.

Man, if I could get my trip in Dec done for $7 a pt. I wouldn't have to stay at Pop!!! But since I'm in the hole already and borrowing from '07 UY, that's not an option. So...if anyone out there would like to transfer 49 pts at $7 a pt I'll be more than happy to come up with a great story as to why I need them so cheaply !!!! Then I would only have to stay at Pop for 3 nights rather than 6!!!!

I don't get too worked up over the price of the rental points as it is driven by supply and demand. If "owners" are willing to accept very low payment for their "property" then shame on them, not the person doing the buying. How many people want to pay more for a car/house/stuff? Last time I looked around everyone was looking for a bargain......including most of us DVCer's. Want proof?
