They're baaaack!!??? Sheers?? vs Tights??

Ok, clearly NOT that important, and sorry if this has already been discussed?

But anyone notice this fall how many women, such as anchors (Diane Sawyer) and celebrities (Kate Hudson, on Regis & Kelly as I type) plus MANY others, are wearing SHEERS (pantihose) again, and not tights?

Hmm, not real excited! Definitely not for me in good weather, and in the winter, tights are much warmer. JMHO!

What are your thoughts?

I went to a party on Wednesday night and noticed the same thing. Several women were wearing pantyhose and I haven't seen that in years. One strange thing - I saw a woman wearing white pantyhose with a black dress and shoes.

I could be the ONLY woman on Earth not wearing them and I wouldn't give a hoot. I hate sheers. Tights are the way to go for me or nothing at all.

Yeah, now that you mention it, I saw lots at hubby's company party, too!

ewww, white pantihose are for nurses only! And not just IMHO either, from what I've read forever!

I never could wear a dress or skirt without pantyhose. I felt that not wearing pantyhose didn't look right on me at all nor did it look professional in the workplace for me either. Besides, I need the tummy control.*

I hate sheers and haven't worn them for a long time.

Shoulder pads are supposed to be coming back as well - thanks, but I really don't want to look like a linebacker.

I don't own any tights. I live in NC, and its been hard to find them until recently. I mostly wear pants in winter. If I wear a skirt or dress it's with pantyhose.
