I thought I'd pass along to those of you putting together packages for the troops that their number one request seems to be for baby wipes. They had a feature on ABC this morning. Due to the lack of water/showers, they just love having these to clean up. Sunscreen is also popular.

Thanks for the tip! I've sent letters to my servicemen, now waiting for the priority boxes I ordered from the USPS site to get the care packages together. I thought I also heard something about flea collars. I think they wear them around their ankles. Is this true?

I found great Bath clothes that do not use water. They come in a pack about 5"X7" and are suppse to be a little thincker than regular wipes. I have also send baby wipes, Dove wipes, Lever wipes. I hope they are wanting flea collars for their ankles. I have sent 4 :) I did place a short not of why I was sending the flea collars just in case.

I have a list that I made after reading several posts and websites. If you would like a copy, please le tme know at carol@hapenney.com.

Thanks for tip! I'm going shopping today my care packages. I will definetly include wipes!!!

I am looking for an address of troops so my DD's can have a Pen Pal. Can anyone help?

I am so surprised to read this but on the CNN ticker tape that is displayed.... I read this morning that the U.S. Government is requesting that unsolicited mail & care packages not be sent anymore UNLESS it's from family & friends.

Are we considered family or friends? I just sent another package (to Bobby) yesterday.
