They Tried To Make Me Go To Rehab, But I Said No No No! Updt 11/7: Solo no more Pg.27

Great TR so far! Can't wait to find out about the boys! Le Cellier was our first meal of the trip too!

I hadn't realized you started!!!
But I haven't been on much the last week. :sad2:

Old Key West looks so peaceful.

That spaceship earth photo is beautiful.
The colors are so vibrant!

Glad you are enjoying your solo time!!! :goodvibes
It will be interesting to see if the family shows up!
Le Cellier sounds great.

My mouth is watering just reading about your meal :goodvibes

I hope to bring the boys to Le Cellier next time. It has become a must do for me :)

Glad you enjoyed your lunch in my home country. ;)
Love your shirt! I have the same one. :goodvibes

And I think your country is beautiful (O Canada review follows :) )!

I packed two Ariel shirts on this trip, and have a few more at home ;)

I LOVE your TR so far! Your kids are soo adorable! I cant wait to read more. :)

Thanks for your very kind comments :)

Thanks for the great update, Ariel's my favorite too. Do they still have the mussels with applewood bacon appetizer, it's wonderful & I think I read somewhere that they didn't have it anymore?
I only saw the cheese soup and the sausage appetizer being ordered by people seated around me. It may still be there, but I don't remember. Sorry :upsidedow

Oh so glad to hear you made your ADR! And a lovely meal! I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment! Oh and so glad to hear you enjoyed dining solo as well!

Allyson :)

I am sure you too will have a grand time on your solo trip! ;)

Great so far!
Im really excited to read more!
Im leaving in one week!

Have safe and fun trip, glad you came by to read about mine :)

Isn't it the best feeling to be driving through this?!?!? You know the whole trip is ahead of you....it is so exciting!

Hi MeMom! There'll be more gate photos later...;)

How was your dining experience at Le Cellier? Oh, wait don't tell me, I'll be checking out your TR! :thumbsup2

Le Cellier sounds great.

Hi kathleen! Glad to see ya back! OKW is so clean and pretty, I was tempted to buy DVC there...Ooops, let me not get ahead of my story ;)

When I last left you I was leaving Le Cellier, and with a full and happy tummy I was ready to take on the World (Showcase).

I stopped to marvel at the Victoria gardens just outside Le Cellier's entrance:

It was my first time ever touring the WS. In October last year, the boys and I spent all our Epcot days riding and re-riding all the attractions in FW, never getting a chance to visit even one country (and it was during the Food and Wine festival too!) :(

I notice the little cottage tucked away in the corner of the gardens:

I walk through the bridge/pathway leading towards the O Canada theater:

Gorgeous waterfall:

And clean, clear waters:

The majestic Hotel du Canada:

A view from the queue area of the O Canada theater:

The theater was only a quarter full :thumbsup2 I got to stand in the very center of the theater. A tip to those who've never been here: although it is a 360 degree theater, face right when you enter. That appeared to be the "front" of the film IMHO. ;)

One final glance at Canada before heading over to the next country:

Up next:
Commando touring the World!
Stay tuned

I just wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying your TR!!!! Your boys are so cute!!! Such wonderful pictures too--:)

Lovely photos of the Canadian pavilion. I think they did a really good job replicating different aspects from all over Canada, especially the gardens and the chateau.

Hi! I'm so happy you're enjoying my little TR :) Much more to come! Btw, I was showing my Mom and Sister all the photos I took during this trip, and surprise, surprise! -- Both of them spaced out halfway through my slideshow! :rotfl:

(Told y'all I am the only Disney die-hard 'round here! :rolleyes1 )

I am so glad I started in Canada and explored it thoroughly. I got more and more tired as I looped around the World, and the number of pictures I took decreased proportionally! ;)

:lmao: That can happen and no wonder you were tired after just arriving and hitting the parks right away.

I love the garden in Canada. Every time I see a photo from a different time of year, it looks a little different. I guess I will have to go to Disney all different times of the year to see the changes. :rolleyes1

Loving the TR!!! I needed a fix while waiting for you next post so I started reading your other TR - for your son's 7th birthday! I am loving all the pics. You are keeping me very entertained. My DH is an Olympic addict so there's no watching TV or talking to him for a while. Keep em' coming!:thumbsup2

Next installment coming up soon! :) Glad you're checking out my other TR :thumbsup2

LOL! Once a commando, always a commando :rotfl:

 Another reason to start planning for a new trip! I myself would love to see the Christmas decorations at MK and DHS.....hmmm...;)

I walked on to the next country, the United Kingdom. My goal was to take in the architecture and see the hedge maze.

I just happily snapped away:

I've read somewhere that the pavilion's street contains one building for each century of British history:

I thought this English cottage was simply lovely! Here's an attempt at an artistic shot:
IMG_5586.jpg

Here's the hedge maze. I had a relaxing time quietly watching the folks walking in and around it:

I saw the international gateway entrance, then walked over the bridge:

The bridge, of course, connecting UK to:

France! :)

Where did all these dark clouds come from?
IMG_5590.jpg

It was a beautiful sunny day when I left the UK, but the weather made a complete turn-around in France. I hurry up and take a photo before the light drizzle turns into a heavy rain:
IMG_5592.jpg

A photopass photographer approaches me, and I smile before getting (mildly) drenched by the rain:
IMG_5593.jpg

I, along with a few others, run and take shelter at the French theater and wait for the rain to ease up......

Up next:
An almost-personal injury!
Been there, done that.
Proud to be an American!
Stay tuned....:)

Great pictures! Love your UK ones! And man that sky did get dark fast huh? Did you watch the whole France movie? How was it? I've never seen it!

Allyson :)

Your pictures of World Showcase are absolutely gorgeous...you have inspired me to explore the countries much more when I am there is 2 days :goodvibes
