They switched our bounceback offer..yeah!

I posted earlier about the possibility of letting us switch our dates and keep the free dining offer. They allowed it!!! Now we're doing WL Woods view 8/30-9/7 with free dining!!! :cool1:

We've been trying to change our CSR w/free dining for 9/19-9/27 to Poly or AKL. No luck yet :sad2: but we're still hoping.
 
call them now..because we just switched ours from the Poly 9/19-9/28..so they have an opening..or should
 

The free dining some of us are referring to is an offer that was made when we were there last year during free dining and if you booked before you left then you could get the same offer for your next vacation.
 
I have tried to switch my reservations twice, and both times have been told that there is no openings-who did you call to switch? They tell me that I can only switch if they open up the free dining again. Any help??

Did you add on any days to your res? I've called 5 times and they won't add on 3 nights to my reservation. We even upgraded from value to deluxe.:confused3
 
I wanted to upgrade from a value to a deluxe, but not add any more days to my reservations. Should I try changing the dates and then also the resort at the same time?

Only Guest Services can modify an existing reservation with a code that no longer is current. Last year lots of people had this same issue but were able to successfully modify their ressies by asking to speak with GS. The other CM's don't have access to change/modify the bounceback free dining offer, again because it is no longer a valid current offer.---Kathy
 
We were able to change dates and resorts but the CM had to go through Guest Services to do so. At first, I was told that we couldn't change resorts due to the special being "sold out" at the WL for those dates. So I asked her what other resorts were available for the offer for those dates and she came back and said that Guest Services approved the WL woods view for those dates.

I wanted to add two days to the beginning, but the check in for the offer was 8/30 and we wanted to arrive 8/28 and they would not add those two days. We'll just add those two days on a separate ressie instead.

I even rationalized it to them that I originally booked 8 nights and now I want to spend MORE money on 10 nights at rack rate if they could offer the free dining for all 10 nights. They still said they were unable to do that. I didn't speak with guest services directly.

I don't have a number for guest services directly. I was thinking of calling them directly and asking. Won't hurt to ask. The worst they can say is no.
 
Thanks for all your help, I was able to change my reservation to a cabin at Fort Wilderness by asking for guest relations.
