I have a secret crush on Jimmy Stewart--you know, the man who played George Bailey in "It's a Wonderful Life." I cried when he passed away.

I had a little crush on Lou Gehrig, even though he died 20 years before

Okay, in the vein that this thread has taken...

My first concert was Shaun Cassidy in 1977! I wore Gauchos to it! :rotfl:

Suzanne

OMG!!!! I actually am EXCITED that gauchos are back in style. I loved them in the 70's (as a kid!!! :) )

My other confession is - I just ate 7 home made Choco-chip cookies and am drinking a diet coke while feeding my addiction to the Dis!!!! PMS, I guess!!!!!

I confess that I have an addiction to buying clothes for DD. I have always gotten them on clearance at end of season so it isn't a large amount of money spent. Of course there have been some great Ebay lots & yard sale/consignment sale finds too. I am trying to switch out her summer/winter clothes today...I've been working on it for a couple days on & off. I was missing a couple skorts for some tops & when I found them...they were in a bag with more clothes. I found another bag of size 4/5s on the top shelf of her closet. I have clothes sorted by size in those vacuum bags up to 10/12. I need to stop buying her clothes!!!!

Confession: DH and I have a thing for U2. I have seen them 24 times in concert, he is closer to 30 or so. Our first date was a U2 show!

U2 related confessions: Twice, at my current job, I have taken a weeks vacation. I told everyone we were traveling. In fact, we were sitting outside the arena, trying to get into the heart (then the ellipse). It always worked!

Once, we drove 400 miles out of our way on a scheduled cross country trip, because we knew they were playing in Birmingham, Alabama, and we wanted to see the show.

At that same Alabama show (and through that whole tour), the band had a "zoofenssional booth," that you could go in and say anything you liked, then the editors would splice everything together for a funny show in between sets. DH (then DBF) and I went into the booth, and he gave a sweet speech about how he loved me. At the end, he gave me a big kiss. When we came out of the booth, the producer asked us if we would go back in and kiss again. We figured, hey, why not! It's Alabama, we don't know these people! So, we did. And they edited it so that we seemed to be kissing OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER...

I have seen every single episode of the original Twilight Zone series. I love the Twilight Zone. I watch the marathons on Sci Fi on both the 4th of July and New Years Eve. Even though I have probably seen some of the episodes about a hundred times.

Don't bother me when I am watching my TZ!

Oh, man, I know I'm gonna regret this...

I was totally into Menudo (before Ricky Martin was in it). I had tons of posters of them on my bedroom walls. Whenever I needed to change, I'd change in the bathroom cause I was so freaked that they'd be "watching me". Yeah, the posters. :lmao:
:lmao: OMG! That is so funny. You know how some people like to read in the bathroom? Well, I am one of them, BUT it used to be that I would only read from a book not a magazine because I was afraid that somehow the people in the magazine could see me sitting there on the pot. :confused3 :rotfl2:

My first concert was Vanilla Ice in 1991 and I wore those MC Hammer pants!!!!  :lmao: :lmao:

I used to be in love with Glenn Cambell. When THE GLENN CAMBELL SHOW was on TV I would make-out with him on the TV. :lovestruc

I convince myself every night if I just eat the broken cookies they have no calories.

HHmmmm....... :scratchin

Okay here goes: I"m totally head over heals in love with my DBF. A little history about us. We used to work together for three years (2001-2004) I then moved to another section within our organization which moved me from working in VA to Andrews Air Force Base. All the while working together I never looked at him or at least conciously looked at him in any other way outside of a friend. Last Nov we went on a TDY(business trip) to San Antonio, TX for a week and hung out the entire time. Ever since our TDY we have been seeing each other.

I'm going through a divorce and while talking one night with him I told him the next guy I marry we will have to be friends first and I'm going to have to be head over heals in love with him. Quite as kept I've always loved him especially when we would have little passing by conversations while working together. I know he feels the same way about me, he knows I'm in love with him but does not know that I'm head over heals in love. I think it's too soon to let him know how I truly feel. I actually am speechless, I've been in love before but this time it feels way different. He brings out the absolute best in me, he aspires me to be a better person, and even with all of the turmoil I'm going through now, not one time has he turned his back on me. I love him so and that it's totally scareing me. <-----we both have discussed on several occasions we feel this strong about each other.

Okay I feel better, thanks for listening.

I have another confession. All the perfect parents here will have a field day with this one: My kids had movie theater popcorn, M&Ms and Cherry Coke for lunch today--and this wasn't the first time.

I've been known to eat Skittles for lunch.
