They Got Me Booked split stay Should be interesting Magic Band etc..

Ok so I got the email offering me a 35% discount for September..oh well I don't even know if I can go or afford it or who will go with me..but I booked it anyway!!! 9 nights september 16 to 25th!
Right away there seems to be confusion about magic bands and split stay..
Are they gonna send me 3 basic bands? Plus they linked he reservation to my friends and family on the MyExperience that traveled with me in October..
So I called the IT phone line…They were very helpful but told be there is no way to get the old guests OFF my friends and family because I now have a new reservation for an upcoming visit because I didn't add guests when I made the reservation which I did online. Huh? Can't take someone off my list who has nothing to do with an upcoming trip that I booked because of the discount?
Confusing to me this adding…Plus it is showing our previous bands and cards as STILL active..Huh? what does that mean. They have some kinks to work out for sure. The nice IT lady said they are working on it. She said I have to call reservations to add my guests when I decide who is going….Then why have an online site? Do you really think that if and when I go in September with a spilt stay at Poly first, then The Lodge and then The Contemp..3 nights each..THAT I"LL HAVE SMOOTH SAILING? Your thoughts..

Lots of people have smooth sailing with a triple split stay managing multiple family members and Magicbands. Others (like me) book a simple room only stay at one resort and manage a few Magicbands with nothing but problems. Unfortunately, there's no way to predict what this will even look like in September.

BTW....All bands and old cards are still on your MDE until you unlink them. I have several cards and bands under my profile still.

Hopefully, you'll have zero problems and an excellent trip.

Problem is I CAN"T unlink them. That is what I was told because when I made the new reservation they STAY there until the new trip is over! And that makes it confusing to me because I only want the people on there who will be going on THIS trip…and I don't know who they are yet! The IT person said they are working on it.

I see what you are saying. That is very confusing. Hopefully they will be able to fix this problem for you before the trip and not after. Weird.

We did a split stay in DEC. Yes, we were sent two pair of MB's. Yes, we took both pair with us.

We only used ONE PAIR, w/o any problems at all.

Checking into the 2nd resort was no big deal, the CM's just used those bands for the info they needed and everything worked perfectly.

I'm an easy goin person so even glitches won't bug me..there were plenty in October…I just love the idea of September LOW crowds….
Just seems silly that the one who manages the Myexperience site ME! can't get people off the thing after a previous trip is OVER! Just stupid on the websites part just plain stupid...
