At least so says Fox News. I was watching O'Reilly tonight and he had Col Hunt as his guest--I like that guy. Anyway, his sources have told him that there were 14 bodies in that pit and Saddam and his two sons have been identified. He said the adminstration wants to do some more DNA tests before announcing it, but that they think they've got the goods.

Thank God. I think the Iraqi citizens need to know for sure that he's dead or they're always going to worry that he'll come back and hurt them. And I bet that once they're sure he's dead they'll start giving us all sorts of information.

If he was still alive, does anyone think that Saddam would just be laying low in Syria or wherever? Of course not. He'd be releasing some taped appearance saying "I've escaped the American's attempt to kill me" or something like that.

Isn't it ironic that they just Arab Television just showed an unreleased video of Saddam and one of his sons surronded by a mob of people. They claim it was shot the day the statue fell in the center of Bagdad. He got into a car and sped away.
