:lmao: I just had a CM tell me that over the phone. I was calling to get ressies for our upcoming trip. The call went similar to this:

ME: " Yes, I would like to make a ressie for Coral Reef (insert date) for lunch for two"
CM:"Coral Reef only serves Dinner"
ME: Stunned silence. and a quick thought that maybe I am loosing my mind
CM: " M'am, would you like to try somewhere else"
ME: " Are you sure about them not serving lunch? Could you check on that?"
CM: " No they don't serve lunch, would you like to try elsewhere?"
ME: "Thank you for your time have a magical day" (yep I said magical):sad2:

:rotfl2: I cannot belive she told me that and was very adament......Oh well, I will call again.....Bless her heart...maybe she was having an off day

I'm the smart alleck in my family. I would have said something like "Can you transfer me to the girl next to you because obviously you have no idea what you're talking about. Thank you."

I would have loved to see the reaction to that! My boyfriend always has smartly replies like that, but I can only make them up afterwards. The one I really should remember is when a salesman call to my house and ask to speak to my parents: "Well, I really don't want to give out their phone number to strangers you know!", but instead I'm so pissed off, I hang up! I'm 29, and do look and sound young, I know, but come on, not that young!

Well, I would certainly hope they serve lunch or else that was a cruel trick some other CM played on me when she gave me the confirmation number for my lunch reservation in a couple of weeks. :rotfl2:

P.S. - I love that you told the CM to have a magical day... too funny!

Funny!

My last call the CM told me that she could not make reservations for House of Blues. Once I assured her that it definately was a restaurant that was reserved through disney dining she told me that they only did sunday brunch. Then that they only served dinner. Finally after about 20 mintes(not on the 800 number mind you) I finally got my lunch reservation for House of Blues.

Whats even better is my poor DH could not belive I did not have a smart (insert inappropriate word here) comment for her, usually I am right on top of things like that...I guess it is an off day for me...

I called back and guess what???:confused3

I got a ressie for Coral Reef for lunch...now theres a bright idea:idea: lunch at the reef that is

:lmao:

Wow, I'd be in real trouble, then. The only ressie for Coral Reef we could get is for a "late lunch." I'd hate to show up and have them reject us because they don't serve lunch. ;)

One thing that I didn't catch until this morning is that the ahi tuna isn't on the lunch menu, and that's what I really want from there. Ah, well ...

well, ummmm, then the reservation I made today for lunch at the Coral Reef won't happen!

Gee, I wonder what it's called that I ate there just a few weeks ago at 1:30. Coulda sworn that was lunch, but I guess they serve an all-day dinner!

Luckily for me when we made our reservations we talked to three different people (the phone kept cutting out) and all confirmed our reservations for the Coral Reef for lunch. Thank god I have yet to meet an incompetant person working for disney because I have to smart of a mouth for those people.
