Continued from previous post:
After riding through a small world filled with tiny childlike dolls, we decided to head over to Philharmagic.
This is my favorite!

Because where else are you going to see Duck Butt!

I would buy all of these if I could. It would be a bed of Donald plushies.

I decided at this point that I wanted to do something I had not done before. I wanted to meet Gaston, and his meet and greet time was opening up shortly. One thing off of my list of things to do!
So another one of those moments where you're waiting in line with people, and they have no idea what's going on? A Mom was in line with her five year old, and they had no idea who he was. She kept commenting that she didn't know who he was, but they would meet him. I commented that he was Gaston from Beauty and the Beast.
To which she said to her daughter "we're waiting to meet the Prince!"
Lady, are you telling me that you've never seen BEAUTY AND THE BEAST!?
Get out. Get out of Disney World now. You are not allowed here anymore. Or better yet.

Gaston came outside for the meet and greet right after this lovely exchange, and he met her daughter first.
He asked her how old she was. She told him she was five years old.
He then proceeded to tell her how when hew as five years old, he had already owned his own tavern. Well, he didn't really own it, he took it from LeFou. He asked her what she was planning on doing with her life.
The look on her face was priceless. She had absolutely no idea what he was talking about.
Then it was time for us to meet Gaston.
He proceeded to lean in to me to ask me to look into his eyes.

And he says "aren't they amazing?"

He did the same thing with Mom.

He was really into character, which was awesome. When he would pull you in to take a picture with you, he would yank you into his side really hard.

At that point, I told Gaston that I wanted to take a selfie. Oh, he took a selfie all right.

Finally he obliged me and took his hand away. Bad Gaston.

After meeting him, we were so apply that we did. After the entire trip was over and done with, Mom commented and still to this day says that it's her favorite meet and greet of the trip. I would have to agree with her on that.
Up next: What do you mean you're nervous around a pixie?!
