Ahhh, YES! Someone else who loves the No Way Jose as much as I do! Hands down, it's the best ice cream on property. My stomach literally grumbled when it saw your photos of it. It's good to see we both have excellent taste in both alcohol and desserts.



You were on a role with animatronic photos that night. Loved the wasted Ariel and goofy Buzz.


I don't know was better, your Pop on the teacups or him high giving those guys. Either way, guaranteed the night wouldn't be dull for you.

Your shirts were so cute so I checked out Hot Topic's website (we don't have one where I live) and OMG! Don't think I could do any of the shirts as I'm--well we will just say Pooh shaped --but the other things...........this could get ugly!!

Mega update is an understatement. I'd love to comment on how Much I'm jonesing for on onion rings right now or how much I love your Alice top or moms infinite starring ability or even the bunny, but papadon on the tea cups cannot be topped. Lemme know when the 60 day fast pass mark hits so I can reserve my front row seat next trip. If that is not their Christmas card photo then I'm gonna use it ; )

I still haven't been to Beaches and Cream, maybe Tyler and I will go there next trip. I'll have to ask him if he wants to go there.

Your dress is too adorable. I think that's one I was showing Mackie when we were in Hot Topic at one point, that one and the lanterns scene on Tangled when they are in the boat facing each other. The top is all black and then the skirt portion of the dress is the scene, you should look into that one, it would be soooo cute on you.

It's nice you and PapaDon got a chance to spend some daughter/father time together and poo-poo to the mean old CM, what was her stinkin problem any way?!? I've never understood someone who doesn't like to deal with people, then go into a job that is all about pleasing and being good to the customer!! WTHeck?!?

When they are being like that I tell them....."I don't appreciate your non-Disney attitude and would your manager think you were being the Disney CM they expect you should be?" Usually does the trick. I'm also good at going to the closest manager and letting them know that the CM so-and-so is not being very Disney like in their handling of customers, I'm sure to compliment where I can but I'm also one to report it when they aren't doing what they should, especially when it's pretty blatant and outright not called for.

This happened on one of our first few days in WDW during our last trip.. It happened in DHS at Starring Rolls, it was lunch time and since there aren't very many places I like to go to eat in DHS, Mackie and I decided to go there to share one of those mile high sandwiches and a cupcake. Well, it's a CS meal so it comes with a drink and dessert or a salad or something like that. When I asked the young lady behind the counter for the sandwiches she snapped at me and said they didn't have any sandwiches it was still breakfast. She had a heavy accent and seemed very irritated that she had to even speak to me let alone wait on me, I thought maybe she was having a tough time with the language barrier and thought she was having a rough day of it.
I then, with a more no nonsense (not ugly but confident)and not as much of a sing-song voice as I'd normally have and asked if it was their lunch hour and since the sign said they would be serving sandwiches at that time, when did she think they might be ready so I could come back then?
She snapped pretty quickly at me and said they didn't have any, like I was too stupid to understand her the first time.
The CM next to her was pretty shocked by her attitude and tried to smooth things over and speak to the girl, but that girl was not having any of it and started cursing me in another language. I was pretty shocked myself by this girls blatant disregard for another human being, let alone her lack of wanting to be helpful. It's always a shock when someone working there acts this way, it always takes me aback when it happens. Almost like someone slaps you out of no where.
So, I went up to the lady who was ringing people out and asked her what time the sandwiches would be coming out and she looked at me like I was growing a second head as I spoke, she said they should have already been out and why didn't I have one already, I proceeded to tell her about me trying to get one and how the young lady's attitude turned sour with me asking, and how very un-Disney she was being toward me when I asked about it again.
I also told her how I thought she had no business working at Disney with such a rude way of dealing with people.
Well! This woman was not having any of it! She started barking orders and would you know it, low and behold the rude girl had sandwiches out from behind that curtain in the back in two shakes! The lady at the register kept apologizing and calling me honey or sweetie, you know like a Mama or Grandma would do and told me to pick out some extra things to eat. She was so sweet. I told her I didn't mind paying for the items and she said absolutely not, to get what I wanted.

Now that's Disney customer service! Not that I expect anything for free, or that they should give me anything, but falling all over yourself to please someone is what I've come to love about Disney and expect when I'm there.
But I also expect it from myself, I'm just as fall all over myself pleasant to the CM when I'm around them, and I try to be as wonderful as I expect them to be, no one should be facing the rude world that they've left behind while we are in Disney. Not even the CM.
No way Jose, we should be getting the best customer service because that's how Disney planned it to be from the start, and frankly because we spend a boat load of money when we're there. I meant that to be funny, not to sound like a spoiled brat.

They are! Although I have to say, they weren't as good as the last time we were there, which was prior to them going through their menu overhaul. Not much different, but slightly.

I'm going to agree with you there and say that it's not part of your job description to roll your eyes at people. You want a job where you can roll your eyes and no one knows. Get on the phone.

When you first started talking about the Beach Club lobby, I thought for sure I had guessed wrong about Cape May. But I never thought about Beaches and Cream. Is that even a real restaurant.

After taking our time and Pop allowing me to finish my drink, I asked him to give up his man card and ride the Little Mermaid with me.

He's such a good Pop.

I've noticed that most Dad;s have a soft spot for their daughters.
My husband agreed to ride it once. That will be it for the rest of his life. I wouldn't mind going through the line again just to see all the stuff in there. But the ride itself was very lame.

Because of you I actually walked into a Hot Topic store. I was curious to see what was in there after seeing all those cute shirts in your trip report. There was the cutest Olaf shirt in there. The Disney stuff was cute, but what I really liked was that there was Dr Who all over the place.
