Loved those magic shots! I agree with you on checking e-mails on vacation. My office asked me if I would like to receive work e-mail on my cell phone and I was like "Yeah I'm gonna have to take a pass on that".

I have two phones actually, one personal and one work. I leave the work one behind. I don't mix the two by choice, because I don't want to do personal things on my work phone. I'm just not okay with that.

Popadon and the straw fight, My Dad taught me that when I was little, and I showed my kids, it's always the FIRST thing we do when we have straws wrapped in paper!

My Mom was the one who taught us the straw fights. What we didn't catch earlier is that she totally hit my Pop with one, which is what caused him to retaliate.

They have the nudel gratin all of time which is awesome! That's actually how I found out about it, when the Disney Food Blog posted the menu update to Sommerfest.

I agree with you about work emails. If they really need me they can call me. So far, they are really good about only contacting me on vacation if it is "really" necessary, which isn't too often.

I'm voting that Popadon sticks with his favorite latte version.

The new Boardwalk Bakery is great. The other version was just way too small.

We used to love all the interactive stuff in the Imagination Pavilion. Most of the best stuff is gone now. When we were there in Feb 2013, a lot of the terminals were broken.

Are you the little girl in the front or the kid smashed in the back with only part of a head showing?

The thing is.....what can I do on vacation for you? Not much. This is my one issue with technology today, because now we're never disconnected. And quite frankly, it's not fair.

I loved the entire upstairs of Imagination! I miss it up there.

I have such an obsession with Hot Topic, it's really unhealthy. I go on the website daily, just to see if anything new has been added.

You should definitely cave in and get some of the Beauty and the Beast items.

The meal from the bakery was really yummy, we were very pleased.

I think some people find the ride disappointing. I miss the old version, but I still love Figment so much, so I will always love the ride regardless.

I used to be in the same position as you with studying too. I've never been able to escape it. Either I had to do homework and study on vacation, or I have to be reachable by phone for work. I can't win. LOL.

Good for you, taking vacation seriously! More people need to do that. I NEVER get bothered by work on vacation, but then again, I'm not really important enough for that. Dug, however, ends up having to do some sort of "emergency/crucial" work every time we go out of town. His boss apparently doesn't share your mindset.

We visited the Boardwalk Bakery before the refurb and I thought it was nuts how small it was, and we were there during an off-time and non-peak hours. We might need to check out the updates!

My guess is that your dad does not change his coffee order, I feel like I've had that same argument with my own father.

It honestly ruins some of the magic for me when I think about work or things I have to do when I get home All that stuff needs to be out-of-sight out-of-mind for me and I know my family yells at my dad about it when we're on vacation. New rule: "NO WORK IN DISNEY!"

That Maleficent shirt is awesome! I actually would totally buy that even if it's a girl shirt because MALEFICENT!

I feel you on the whole Imagination thing. I never got to see the original or the short-lived JIYI, but it needs to come back. I've seen videos and it looked amazing! The thing is... People really do still remember it. I got so many compliments on a Dreamfinder pin that I traded for when I was last in Disney, it was incredible. Disney, c'mon bring it back! Oh and I love that photo you got of Imagination with sun reflecting off of it. Gawgeous!
