Ordered our MNNSHP tics on Thursday. They came today:bounce:
We got a Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. So Cute!
Of course you know which one is for DS4..... that's right, Minnie. He didn't mind too much though.

That's funny my ds ended up with the Minnie as well!!!

It is such a great time. Just remember that you can get into MK after 4:00 with your ticket. That gives you two extra hours at the park. (At least that was the case last year)

Have fun and go through the candy lines as many times as you want. Down by Tom Sawyer's Island there weren't many people and the guys handing out the candy filled our bags. Everyone in your party gets a bag so Mom and Dad can load up on the loot as well.

If you are having dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern make those PS for as soon as they open or you will miss some of the party. Also make sure you are not on a ride when the fireworks go off. They are spectacular.:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Sounds like there are a couple of Cdn MNNSHP on this board, so hoping you can help me with a couple of questions. We'll be down at WDW for the first night, Oct 1. I have been debating on whether or not we should invest the money to go. DH and I have AP, so buying 2 tickets for ~$65 USD seems like a big extra investment when we've already bought passes. Also, the kids will be 8 & 5, so I'm not sure how late they'd last. So is it worth the ~$100+ USD for about 5 hours (I'm guessing we'd last from 4-9pm). How crowded are these nights (DH hates crowds and long lines - that's why we go in Sept!)? Would they be typical of any Sept evening? I'm just worried that we'd spend all this money, get a few candies and then have to stand in line for rides that we'd normally walk on during the mornings! Help me decide if its worth the money! Thanks, Jo

Hey Jo,

We went last fall and our DS was 8 and our DD was 2. Neither of them fell asleep. We stayed there right until after midnight. The lines to the rides weren't bad at all as I remember. They only sell a limited number of tickets to the event. It's just fun to watch all the people dressed up, the special parade, the super fireworks and of course the candy lines which move incredibly quickly. You also get your picture taken and they send you a copy for each person in your party.

We were on a Ultimate Park Hopper that trip and also wondered about the added expense. My answer would be that if we were there again in October we wouldn't hesitate for a minute to do it again.

Just remember to go to the park early because between 4 and 6 you can walk onto many of the rides.

Hope this helps.:wave2:
