They are strickter on the height Req at CA, then at DL.

My 4 year old daughter is 1/2 inch short of 40 inches. I put her hair in a top not, and she was able to ride BTMR and Splash Mountain without a problem. When we went to CA and wanted to do the Jellyfish ride and Soarin, they would not let her on.

I don't have a problem with my daughter not being able ride, I just wanted to give an FYI. We respected the issue, and when they said no, we did not press at all. It is ironic though, because Soarin and the Jellyfish ride is a lot more gentle than BTMR and Splash Mountain.

We had a wonderful time there, and can't wait for next year when she will be tall enough for some of the other rides to.

They just changed the limit on Matterhorn and Gadget's go coaster. It used to be 3 years old, no height limit. At the begining of the summer they changed it to 35 inches. We went in July, and 2 weeks early we had DD at 2 1/2 year's old into dr for height and weight check due to prior weight gain issues. at that time she was 32 inches. I decided to see how she measured up anyway for matterhorn, and they said she was fine and could go on. So we get in line, the meaure before going into the last que area, and she's fine. Measure when they give us our seats still fine. We sit down, start to move, and they stop us so they can get her out and measure her again. They still let us ride. I figured there measuring was off, after all two weeks ago she was 32 inches, by dr, and my measurement. Got home and remeasured, she'd grown almost 3 inches (she also had tall shoes on so that helped).

At the the Orange county fair, and Los angeles county fair, they said she was only 33 inches, with the same shoes.
