The kids are out of school today. We had lunch at our favorite Mexican food place. Then we have just been chillin' this afternoon.

Shelly- thanks for the airtran info. Glad to have the airfare booked for sure.


NC-- if you could fly on a thursday or Sunday- Allegiant is flying out of NWA now. Tix for us would've been $59 pp/each way, but the dates didn't work for us b/c of Mark's work schedule. (the prices drop further the closer to the date of flying too- so if you're adventurous......... you could wait until a few weeks out and get $29 fares.)
The flights are late in the afternoon/evening, too.

We plan on getting to the hotel, grabbing Mark some Sushi from the sushi bar and heading out to see Wishes from the beach-- they're at 10 pm that night.

Getting so excited for it.

My kids were off school yesterday too. I took DS8 to his friend's house and DS10 and I went to lunch. I wanted something nice, but we ended up getting pizza. Which was his second choice, after I vetoed McDonald's!

Hey all... I know I've been MIA but my comp was acting up had to get it fixed.... but i'm back now i gotta go catch up on evertything....

Kim - YAY 3 more days... I can't wait for you to get back to hear all about it.....

Now I don't like Ali anymore-- she's a wench and a pot stirrer! I do like Tenley and Gia is growing on me a bit more. I didn't like her at all at first.

I don't like Vienna-- she looks mannish to me- but she seems genuine and sweet. BUT- they could be editing it that way-- I never saw what she did to make all the girls hate her so much. Did you???

I agree, after last night I don't care for Ali anymore. She acts like she is in charge or something.

Not sure what Vienna did to make everyone else so mad, other than go on a date with Jake. But I don't really care for her either.

I still like Tenley, but I could swear that I saw a preview all weekend where she was telling Jake that she is pregnant. But they never showed it last night. Just her telling him that she was married before. Did I imagine that preview - 3 times???

I was thinking that last night too - that I was starting to like Gia for him. She has been pretty quite so far. We may see more of her next week.

I also like the woman he went to Sea World with. Can't remember her name. But I doubt he will end up with her. He has made it clear that he wants to travel a lot and that's hard to do with a 7 year old.

Jo - Haaaay!!! Bookin flights!!!! That really makes it official And I wouldn't worry about AT. I love them!! They're always my 1st choice for cheap direct flights, but yes - Shelly's right - they do change times often. It's usually not by too much, but I would keep my eye out.


So, Bob and I went out this weekend and bought new furniture! It's chocolate brown soft leather and I am terrified about my cats getting to it. Anyone have any suggestions to keep cats from clawing at it?

I have heard so many different things and then so many people say that none of them work

Feliway spray
Tin foil
double sided tape
citrus spray
water bottles
other scratching posts/mats nearby

I think I am leaning towards the Feliway spray and clipping their nails weekly myself, but the spray is pretty expensive...so I don't want to spend the money on it and then have it not work.

Hello Mayers! We had lots of rain yesterday, about 3.5 inches.

We are expecting - get this - 20 inches of rain - the next 24 to 48 hours. That is about our yearly average in this area. Amazing.

Because of the heavy rains and lightening storm, Disneyland was closed early at 5 p.m. yesterday - the first time that the park has closed early in nearly 10 years.

So that is what going on here.
