Plans look great JO! :goodvibes

Love all the sleep in days and the monorail to Epcot mid-day. :cloud9: Mark is going to love this trip!! My only tip -- you must take him to DHS earlier in the trip so he can bond with it!! I can't believe he doesn't like it. I am so hurt!!

Good plan Jo - I wouldn't plan anything more - maybe Mark has some suggestions? Does he have favorite ride, food or experience at WDW he likes to do?

I will have to check out my wife's calendar at school to make sure that she isn't suppose to be doing something important those weekends in May.

BTW, you never did finish your DL and DCA trip - lol. Maybe if you are a good girl and finish your TR I will go on the Mickey's Fun Wheel and take pics of DCA from the top of the ride and share those pictures here with you. ;)

Sea

So there it is in all it's glory. ANy advice, tips, hints, suggestions, comments?

Sea--- we're doing a Sat- Sat trip- which may make it hard for us to meet unless you can stay for that Monday.:goodvibes
WDW just released the 35-40% code for Room only-- I know you were interested in the GF at one point.:rolleyes1
Loved the rivers story. :rotfl: A toaster?????:lmao:
I was so interested to see what they were building at DCA--- I wish I could see it in person.
I liked your room service idea! I'm thinking that might be in the works for at least a couple of mornings--- I am a bit on the snobby side and like room service.:rolleyes1
And the FP idea too--- I always give out some to people -- it's fun to see their eyes light up.:goodvibes

Looks like a great plan Jo!!

You'll be in AK for my birthday.... :sad1:

This is usually the week that I would be there.:sad::sad::sad::sad:

Shelly---:lmao: I knew when I wrote that Mark doesn't like DHS you'd be hurt.:lmao: I, however, really really like that park. :thumbsup2 Especially in the mornings. It's got a really fun vibe. His old company that he worked for rented that park out one night-- they had dinner set up at Indy for them-- and he didn't even appreciate it! :confused3 I could walk thru the TOT over and over again- love all those antiques in there.:goodvibes
Maybe I can convert him when he's relaxed.:happytv:

Sea-- OMG-- seriously? my DL TR?? i'm sooo bad. I don't even know if I could remember what all happened. You might be the only one interested in seeing all of my pics. The last time I wrote on it-- before I had a chance to post it-- it disappeared. I was crushed.
ANd-- BTW--- I didn't ride that Fun Wheel-! I had such aspirations of riding everything over there- but Cali Screamin at 10 in the morning got the best of us and we were ill the rest of the day.:headache::rotfl2:

RF--- awww, honey-- you know you need to come on and be a MAYer and just join me at AK.:lovestruc It'll be fun--- all the cool kids are doin' it.:lmao:

School has been cancelled AGAIN for tomorrow.

Sleep in--- yay!
Fighting Kids with nothing to do.... BOOO!!!!

Be still my heart and grant me patience.
:)

Poor boo boo - you need to schedule a trip to CA and do a "redo". :cool1:

Their famous sandwich!
IMG_6637.jpg

Can my wife it eat all?
IMG_6634.jpg

Can I get my mouth around this thing?
IMG_6643.jpg

What a AWESOME sandwich! We loved it! I need to visit the original eatery in PA one day.

The Ft. Lauderdale beach....wonderful!
IMG_6655.jpg

Best billboard we saw on the whole vacation.
IMG_6673.jpg

Later that day we drove from the east coast of Florida to the west coast. We took a highway called "alligator alley" from Ft. Lauderdale to Ft. Myers.
We spent three days with our friends in Ft. Myers, relaxing and catching up on everything that has been going on in each others lives. We had the BEST Sunday dinner - BBQ rib eye steaks - they were so hospitable. We hated to leave our friends and Florida behind - but we know we will be back soon!

Thanks for reading and enduring my cruise trip report! - Sea

Such an awesome report Sea! I finally found all the pictures!

Your beach pictures are gorgeous!! It makes me really sad that I am typing in my sleepy pants and a fleece that's zipped all the way up my neck. :sad1:

Mmmmm, and that sandwich looks just right! I will most definitely take you down to the original if you and Lena and the boys ever take a trip out here! :cool1: LOL. And I love the Kennywood sign! :rotfl: Nice touch! :thumbsup2

Seriously what is wrong with this picture...you are in the south in balmy Arkansas..I am in the True North Strong and Free and should be frozen Canada...you have snow we don't.

Can I have some........ please!!!!!!

I love snow days.

Here is what you do: Invite Al Gore to come to your town and have him preach his global warming/"the earth is having a fever"/carbon credits trading ponzi schemes and then God will bring the storm of the century to your area like when He did at AG's global warming conference in Copenhagen last month! :lmao::cool1:

Sea- you are full of yourself these days!
:rotfl2:

Lake-- if I had a snow blower that would reach up to you- I'd send it your way.
The white stuff is nasty.
Give me 94 degrees, 100% humidity any day.

Morning all.

I could use some prayers this morning for my aunt Stacy's dad Paul. He's had a lot of heart problems in the past and he just went into the hospital on Sunday for an irregular heartbeat. He had a procedure yesterday that apparantly didn't work because he has an irregular heartbeat again today.

He's such a great guy and we haven't really got too much of a chance to get close to him until the past 6 months or so. :guilty: He's bounced back before, so I really think that he can do it again.

Please send some prayers our way.

Thanks

Absolutely...prayers headed his way.

As you know, Ethan is turning 8 on thursday. So this weekend he is having about 10 friends over to celebrate. We are also having a local animal show come in with a couple small exotic animals to show the kids. ( You also know that Ethan is my zoo lover.)

But I am looking for something to occupy the boys for around half an hour from the time they arrive and wait for their other friends, until the time the animal show will begin.

Can anyone help me with any craft or game suggestions that will occupy some 8 year olds. Any and all ideas are welcome.
