Hi guys. I'm here.

I'm sick too.... :sad2:

I'm leaving work at noon today because I feel like crap.

Tomorrow I have to help some friends move in the morning, and then Bob's uncle and his kids are coming over to see the house. I feel terrible that they haven't seen it yet.... Then tomorrow night we are supposed to go to my uncle and aunt's house for my uncle's birthday.

And all I want to do is sleep. :faint:

Sorry to hear that so many of you are sick! Hope you get better soon!

Hi Shelly - 15 days...WOW!!!!

Jo - Drive safely and have a great time!

Holy Moley- I'm scared just to type on this thread or we'll all be sick at my house next!

It's probably too late anyway. DD was up with a stuffy nose twice last night and a dry cough- probably from the nose stuffiness. Here we go again. :headache:

We're headed to a cabin in the hillbilly mountains of West Virginia for the weekend and I've packed my entire medicine cabinet just in case.

Kim - you have my permission to hate me, my annual pass and how much we go to DLR ;). :lmao:
For some reason I think that this statement was a dig. Rub it in a little more why don't you. :headache:

And for those of you dealing with boys of any age, just keep in mind, this too shall pass. I have three sons -- 18, 23, and 26 -- and they all turned out pretty ok, and we all survived :goodvibes I've got faith in you -- you are all good, loving, caring moms...
How about girls? My boy is no trouble at all these days but my DD- whew watch out. I'm already dreading the teen years with this one. She's stubborn like her mama :rolleyes1 My mom actually laughed the day we had our sonogram and they said the word *girl*. She just looked at me and laughed and the only word she said was *paybacks* I didn't think I was THAT bad of a kid!:rolleyes1 Although now that I think back...:scared1: I better call the library and put a rush on getting me that book!

Jo- Happy travels! Stay healthy!

Shelly- Happy 15 days- may you all stay healthy until then! :goodvibes

Is it supposed to be a one time thing if you get it or can you get it over and over?
The scary thing I heard was that they are afraid that it will mutate this winter and become even more difficult to treat. :scared1: So even if you had it this spring/summer/fall you can get it again this winter and possibly in a worse way. I really hope that's not true and was just the worse case scenario. I gotta stop watching the news.

Kim - I am sorry about that. Didn't mean to be a dig to you or anyone else here on the board. Sea

Sea I was just messing with you! Although I am still jealous you get to have Dole Whips whenever you want to :rolleyes1 Dig all you want...someday I'm convincing my DH that we're moving to FL- even if it doesn't happen until we're old and gray ;)

Ok - I am glad we are good here. I do try to limit my Dole Whip consumption to twice a month - I try to find the other specialty desserts around the park to enjoy, like that Halloween dessert we had a couple of weeks ago.

Florida??? Hot, sticky, humid, bug-infest, alligator-biting Florida? Why do you want to live there? :rotfl2:

FL beats living in a state that's about to fall into the ocean :rotfl:
I'm sure you get tired of hearing that one from all of us East Coast people but I couldn't resist! :lmao:

That pumpkin dessert looks delish!

It was very good dessert and no we aren't going to fall off into the ocean any time soon. :D

Thanks for the laughs this afternoon Sea :goodvibes

I'm off to go pack since we are supposed to be leaving in about 3 hours  If it's not Disney, I'm not motivated to pack.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and feels better soon!

Oh yeah- AND, p.s.- Shelly- my DH is going to be in Orlando for work the same week as you.:headache: I wish I was going.:sad1:
How can you go to orlando and never even go into wdw??????????

Jo

Oh JO you should join him for a few days!! I know a really cool family you could hang out with while he's working. :rolleyes1

My DH will be going to Orlando, well Lakeland, probably in early January for work. He keeps telling me that he is going to drive to WDW for dinner one night and send me a picture. :sad2: I had to tell him just how NOT FUNNY that is!!

This statement made me start singing... :rolleyes1

Let me tell ya a little story about a man named Jed
The poor mountainer barely kept his family fed
Then one day he was shootin' at some food
And up from the ground came a bubblin crude

Oil that is

Black gold

Texas Tea

So maybe you'll play the lottery while there and win a million dollars!!

My library was completely checked out of this book. And there was a wait list for it. Maybe there is a school flu going around everybody's kids are off track.

Well, poor, poor, pitiful Chris is not allowed to go to the homecoming game tonight.

According to him his parents only love him if makes A's. (So I asked the Alg. II teacher did anyone else make a B. She only one other kid out of both of her classes and it was an 89.6.)

We are just too hard on him and have too great of expectations according to the poor thing.

Well, ya know. If would have at the LEAST taken the test, HELLO, he would not have made a zero on it. :sad2:

Is that too much to ask? :confused3

Good grief!

GEEZZZ!!!

Rant over!

:thumbsup2
