That makes me want to bake a dutch apple pie. Mmmmm, they're my fav!

Bob had to work this morning until about noon, and then we are stopping at the store and we're going to pick up stuff so I can make green bean cassarole. Then we're watching the game at my aunt and uncle's house, having dinner and watching Dexter!

I love Sundays! They're even better when you work at a bank and don't have work on Monday!

Our plans are pretty simple today: we'll go to the Farmer's Market, Costco (momma needs some new contacts!) and then laze around the house until it's time for Sunday night TV and some 'Dexter'

The mention of apple pie does make me want to bake something, though. Maybe I'll make some banana oatmeal muffins.

Howdy MAYers!

The NewCrews had a lovely weekend in Hog Heaven!!! We went up Friday night for the game. The temp was barely 50 if that much at 11 a.m., gametime. But when the stadium is filled, it is really not that cool. We just do not ever remember wearing long sleeves, not to mention sweatshirts and sweaters to a mid October day game. Even so, Doug and both kids got a bit too much sun on their cheeks even though it wasn't very sunny.

We had a nice drive home today.

Jo - We watched the Florida game last night. The gators were looking good. Their defense looked awesome!

Well, now to catch up on the laundry and all the other things that are left undone when out of town!

The Gators won- and Tebow played.

NC-- I thought of you guys yesterday morning when it was freeeeeezing. AR hasn't had a really great day yet this season for tailgating. It's been some weird weather so far.

We are looking forward to playing against AR next week. Your offense is looking really solid with Mallett-- he's got quite an arm.
We are actually a bit nervous to play you guys. Well, I am nervous. I can't speak for the boys, naturally.

Glad your weekend was fun.





LAke-- yum. I love apple pie! I hate making it however, so I just cheat and buy a mrs.smith's or one at Sam's. But homemade apple pie with ice cream warm out of the oven. That is da' bomb.

I am hoping that Florida under prepares for Arkansas, and just thinks something like, "Oh, Arkansas, an unrated team this week. No big deal. We can beat them easy."

And that Arkansas thinks, "Hey, we just beat a ranked team, I think we can do it again."

We do NOT have the experience that Florida has. And Florida is well....Florida.

Anywho, it should be a good game. At least during the 1st quarter...

Coach Meyer is reallllly playing conservatively. He is running the ball so much and all I keep yelling is "Throw the dang football, Tebow!!" and Mark shrugs and says "He doesn't have to- their defense isn't there. He can beat them by running."

Many fans are watching and waiting for UM to open up the playbook wide b/c so far- we are all seeing only 1/2 of it.
Either that, or that's all we got- and the fans are idiots.


It will be a great game to see. We wish we were going "Home" for homecoming.

Cleaning house today.

Someone please tell my why it is that once Monday rolls around- it looks like Godzilla came over for a weekend sleep over.

It is soooooo messy here!


Loads-n-loads-n-loads of laundry. Like I haven't done any in three weeks. I know that was me, just on Friday, fluffing and folding.


Good grief, Charlie Brown, please, make it stop.

Morning all! Glad everyone had a nice weekend. Apple pie sounds really yummy right now! The air is cool and crisp and it's definitely apple pie weather!

Jo- Congrats to your Gators! I'm not a football person. DH is the football fan at our house. He was grumpy that the Ravens lost and even grumpier that his fantasy team is not doing as well as he had hoped. Not a happy day here yesterday.

I did lots of laundry, grocery shopping and the usual weekend stuff. We live 2 doors down from a farm and we went to the yearly bonfire they have. I had such a tummy ache after it. Too many S'mores! I took such a sweet pic of my kids in front of his old tractor. I'll try and get it up on my PTR. It has nothing to do with my Disney trip but it's cute.

Hope everyone has a happy Monday.

The kids have today off from school and we just got back from their doctor appointments. DS8 had to have one shot. He was not happy. They were "running low" on the flu vaccine so I have to get up early Saturday and take them to get that at the flu clinic they are having. I was hoping to get it done today while we were right there.

Two losses at soccer yesterday. And it was FREEZING again. That's 2 Sunday's in a row it has been about 50 degrees, cloudy, and very windy. This is getting old fast.

Nothing else really going on here. . . Just counting down the days!

I am sore and tired. Long weekend.

We spent most of Saturday at the house. Finally all the closets are done and empty! Finishing up the kitchen and the china cabinet tonight. We are having a garage sale this upcoming Saturday morning.

Have to get my son's cat spayed this week. Yea! Looking for a new home for the dog. Boo!

It is getting cooler around here too. We are expecting some rain by Wednesday. They are worried about mudslides in the fire areas if the rain is too heavy.

Going to get our flu shots before our cruise. I don't want to catch or bring home anything!

I'm having the hardest time getting going on actual work while at work today. I just can't seem to find the inspiration to do some of the things I need to do. Instead, I'm daydreaming about Disney trips!

Nope, I'm saving the magazine for a practice night. There's no practice tonight since there's no school today. So it looks like I will start reading it Wednesday night!

I have read about half way through my new Disney book though!
